Great energy source on the trail

There are many choices for trail snacks/food, but the ClifBar company really takes it seriously and the tastes are good.

ClifBar has many different flavors to choose from.

Regardless of which flavor you choose, you will appreciate the energy boost on the trail.

The packaging helps keep the bars from getting soggy on the trail during wet weather, yet the bars are naturally moist to avoid being crumbly and breaking apart from any abuse that the bars may receive getting crushed in your backpack.
Delicious, not as sweet

The black cherry almond Clif bars are delicious. The almonds are roasted and really add a great flavor. They don't taste as sweet as some of the other flavors (cool mint chocolate, for example), but I loved eating them. The fact that it didn't taste like dessert was a blessing because they also lasted longer than my typical order.
I usually ate these with a meal or a lot of fluids, but noticed sometimes when I did not they did leave a strange after taste. I have more coming, so I'll update the review soon.

Clif bars are great. They are tasty, moist and fulfilling. I have converted many of my friends to liking Clif bars once they try them.

I had seen these around here and there and figured they were just another weird-tasting protein bar for people who take physical activity much more seriously than most.

I was wrong. Oh so very wrong.

Someone at work received a box of these. I asked to try one. I was instantly smitten. Not too sweet, but definitely still yummy. I studied the nutrition label- there HAD to be a catch... And there was none that I could see.

And thus a fan was born. This is the real deal. The combination of nutrition and taste and simple *satiety* you feel after eating one, is unbelievable. An ideal breakfast food for the time-pressed person, too.

I hope they stay reasonably costed but I also hope the creator of these makes a ton of money. Really a futuristic snack we have here. Loved this flavor and the blueberry crisp one too, but those are the only 2 I've tried so far. Hitting it out of the park so far, these Clif bars...

The price is right, there is a great selection, and the Clif bars make a great healthy breakfast with a glass of skim milk.

I ordered two 12packs of these straight to my office. I have them for breakfast every day with a cup of green tea. I felt better on this diet than with no breakfast. I had sustained energy throughout the day and, since I'm not starved, require smaller portions at lunch.

The price on Amazon is comparable to purchasing in-store at Target, although prices vary by flavor. I very much enjoyed the Black Cherry Almond. Chewy, crunchy, fruity - not too sweet. These are a great pick-me-up that will give you enough nourishment to carry on.

Excellent. Don't let the looks deter you from trying these. The taste is
great and they offer a reasonably well balanced and nutritional "meal"
when traveling or as an alternative to a "fast food" lunch.
