I bought this razor to replace a 6 month old Architec. The architec was one of the poorest performing razors I have ever owned in over 40 years. So I bought this razor with very low expectations.
I was totally amazed by the 7310. It is so quiet the bathroom fan almost drowns it out, but the cut is AMAZING. I have had seven Norelco shavers so when I tried this unit, I couldn't believe it. I can shave in 30 seconds instead of the 7 minutes for the Architec. It is close, comfortable, no heavy pressing to get a close cut, and best of all is the price. The whole new shaver was cheaper than buying just the replacement head for the Architec. And the 7310 is EASY to clean. Flip the head, flush under running water for a few seconds, and let it dry. No static whisker cling like the Architec. I'd give it six stars if I could.
Thanks, Norelco |

After having this for 6 months and it being my first electric shaver, I am thoroughly impressed by it. I use to be a manual razor using Mach 3's and Quattro's but after trying this, its pretty much all I use daily unless I need a really close shave.
It feels like quality despite the price! Very solid and sturdy. |

| I am actually a barber and i need to buy one of these a little more often than the average person that uses it for personal use. I only stay with the NORELCO brand tho. I like their products and they always last. This one from the gate gives a really smooth shave. I have been using it for 2 months straight, 5 days a week on people and the blades are still sharp. If it lasts me a year or two for my job, then it can last like up to 5 years for personal use. Definitely a good buy! |
Excellent Shaver, Great Price, Bit Ugly

Pros:
Very close and comfortable shave
Excellent sideburn trimmer
Good battery life
Charge completed flashing LED's
Price is right if . . .
Cons:
No battery status indication, none expected
Tacky colors
I've been shaving for over forty years, mostly electric and mostly Norelco. For 3-months I had a Remington R450, see my review, huge dissapointment. Every couple of years Norelco tries to come up with a new gimmick to get us to purchase the latest and greatest. Thing is that Norelco got it right 30-years ago. The cutters and combs in the 7310 are the essence of that technology and if you can spin the cutters you'll have a close shave. All the other Whistles & Bells are just fluff.
Norelco claims 10 days of cordless shaving on a 8-hour charge. The charge full indicator started flashing at 2-hours, done. I went 9-days and wondered how much longer, on the tenth day the motor started slowing down and it quit halfway through the eleventh day. By stretching the battery after the first charge/discharge I was able to get 12-days, well actually 11.9-days, could have used another minute of shaving. I stretch a NiCd by running the battery dead with the cutters flipped open for the lowest motor load. Pretty impressive for a single AA NiCd battery.
People claim this is a good/great budget shaver. Nonsense, this is a excellent cordless shaver that can be had at a budget price. I got mine from the big W for thirty-one to my PO Box. It came in the full retail blister pack. By the time I got it to my house, 8500-feet, I thought it was going to explode. I saw at least two retailers have it for a bit less on Black Friday. Makes you wonder what the models that cost 4-5 times as much have to offer?
So why is it ugly? Well of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this old eye doesn't do black and white on a shaver, all black . . sure, all white . . probably not, all silver like my deceased 7865XL's . . YES!!! I still gave the 7310 5-stars, I don't see the colors while shaving. BTW, I do like the white power switch.
If you look at the photos I posted, you'll see that the 7310 consists of a small waterproof power module encased in four cosmetic shells. It's these shells that allow Norelco to play the silly color games at no additional cost. The sides even have rubber bonded to the shell. Turns out I shave with my thumb between the power switch and head and my fingers over the trimmer, so I don't even feel the "slip proof" rubber. Where are your fingers?
So if the feature set meets your needs, don't hesitate to get the 7310, it will deliver a comfortable close shave. As to the colors, only you can decide. |
Simple to Use and Shaves Great

| Reviewer: R. Kolin, Virginia Beach, VA USA |
| I've been using this razor daily for about a month now. The first thing you will notice is how quiet it is, followed by the great shave it provides and finally how easy it is to clean up by just running it under hot water. While charging takes about 8 hours, it stays charged for a long, long time. Since the initial charge, I've only had to charge it twice. I was using a Braun Series 1 1-150 razor (see my review) and liked it. But I found that over time, it did not shave very well under my chin and on my neck, and it took a lot of time to fully do the job correctly. Not so with the Norelco! As with all electric razors, I recommend that you use a pre-electric shave lotion (I like Afta Pre-Shave) to make the shave easier and cause less razor burn. |

Since this was his first shaver we wanted something that wouldn't cause irritation but that would last for a while. I originally did research to try to find something affordable yet reliable. This fit my search. |

Okay, I confess ... 22 years in the Marine Corps ... you better believe I know how to shave with a razor blade. Absolutely never thought I'd like an electric razor. And I have waited a month after buying this from Amazon before leaving this review, in case I had issues with the razor.
I absolutely love it. Can't believe my face endured the trauma of shaving with a blade all those years. I actually look forward to shaving now. Recently I had stopped shaving (with a blade) on weekends to give my face a rest. But now I shave everyday with the Norelco - and love it.
Buy with confidence. |

| I have been using Norelco shavers since I got fuzzy 40 years ago. This one is the best. It is amazingly light and quiet. It shaves well. I've needed to charge the batteries 3 times in 4 months. You can use it while charging the batteries. Best of all, to clean it you pop it open and stick it under the faucet. Dont waste your money on the high priced gadgets, This one is the best. |
Price - Performance Sweet Spot
|
| Review Date: May 8, 2010 |
| Reviewer: Cal A. Forniadreaming, Silicon Valley, CA, USA |
| Strictly from a shaving performance point of view, this model performs as well as much more expensive Norelco shavers. I also own a Norelco 8175XL that costs 3 times as much and uses the blades advertised as having "50% more shaving area." This shaves as fast, close, and comfortable as the more expensive shavers. If you've owned older Norelco shavers, you'll be pleased by advances such as a quiet motor, lithium ion (LiOn) batteries instead of nickel cadmium (NiCad), and the ability to clean the shaver by running it under the faucet. What it lacks is some indicator that the battery is running low. Some reviewers have commented on the fact that it takes 10 hours to recharge, whereas more expensive Norelco's rechage in 1 hour. I actually prefer the slower charge. The fast charge razors state that you should unplug the charger as soon as the charge is complete. I find it much more convenient to plug it in either overnight or when I go to sleep, then to remember to unplug it in an hour. Overall, a great value for the money. |

| Reviewer: Fred Wegland, NJ, USA |
I've used this razor for about a year now, and it's fantastic.
As an Army man, I shave twice a day, keep my razor in my vehicle, and charge it once a week. The only time it scared me was leaving in the car when it was below freezing. If it's very cold, the razor just needs to be warmed-up before it will start.
As a dark-haired fair-skinned man in the Army, this razor's never let me down. |
Very Good Shaver

| Reviewer: VA Dare, Oak Hill, VA |
| I bought the Philips Norelco 7310 last summer and have purposely held off writing a review until I had had a chance to see the battery capacity and use it over a reasonable period. It lives up to its promises! I am very surprised by the comments of other reviewers that the battery capacity is not up to expectation. I have used the shaver every day over the course of months and have had to charge it only 5 times (almost a month per charge). The speed of the motor does seem unexpectedly slower than earlier examples of the type, but it does not affect the shave. Directions say that it can be washed under a stream of tap water to clean it and I have. That has seemed to cause no problem with the device. I have used it without problem both at home and on a sailboat (for weeks) in a salt-air environment. The shaver provides a quick close shave with little if any irritation. I hate to pass out 5-star ratings without solid justification, but this thing earns 5-stars. At the price point it is hard to beat this shaver. |

| Reviewer: J. Waddell, USA |
I had a Quadra Action Norelco (It cost me about 100 bones when I purchased it new) that took the HQ6 blades. I owned it 5-6 years until I dropped it and broke the head assembly. I loved that razor so much that I actually tried to by a new Head Assembly for it but they quit making them for the series I had.
So I did reviews for two weeks on razors, not to mention called Norelco customer service 3 times to ask questions.
I'm going to make this easy for you:
This Norelco model has HQ8 blades in it. Some with HQ8 blades cost a hundred bones, others 30 bones.
This does what any "high cost" shaver does with the same blades in it. Why? Because it's the same blades! (the main key to "shaving").
The others might have a cooler colors, fancier looking lights, or a stand, battery meter, that don't give you a better shave, but just have added features for the pretty package wow factor.
Myself I use my Razor to SHAVE.
This Razor shaves just as close if not closer than my Quadra Norelco that had the HQ6 Blades in it (The blades in this are suppsed to be a steap up, but I see little difference)
No Lie, I talked to 3 people at Norelco. And I asked them about the other "higher priced Norelcos" razors, vs this razor. (even inquired about the arcitec)
All of them told me that the only difference was the added features (lights, bells & whistles, faster charge time), but the shave will be just as close in this one than any others they sell. (One rep even told me that the arcitec was one of there most returned razors.
Take it for what it's worth. But for the extremely low cost on this bad boy with the High End Blades but after doing research, talking to Norelco reps I think this truly is a no brainer.
Get this shaver, charge it up and enjoy.

| Reviewer: Ke Liu, Buffalo, NY |
I should first say that for this price, what you get is a quite decent shaver. I am a big fan of the 7310 so far. It is more precise and comfortable than the 6xxx series. It is sold as 7320 in Europe to my knowledge as just "Philips" no Norelco, same exact features. CVS now has it for cheaper price, including 5ECB.
Good things:
1. price
2. comfortable
3. efficient
Things to improve:
1. It seems to work only after you charge it up. That means it takes 9 hours for a fully charge.
2. a little noisy when working
3. t doesn't shave the philtrum (nose-lip area) well
By the way, it's 100-240V, so in any country you can use it. |

I have used electric shavers for many years. I looked for a reasonably priced, competent shaver. This is one.
It shaves and trims well. It holds a charge long enough to be useful. It runs fine when plugged in, the plug is even small and light. I have only used it a few months so can't comment on long term battery or other durability. It is easily cleaned, allowing use of water. It light weight with nice balance and feel when in use. Simple to use, there are no cutting height or other adjustments but, because it is a basic shaver, others may be do some jobs better such as: extremely long/tough beards; special skin; or shaving exceptionally close. I don't need any of these so it is no problem.
It is not fancy or loaded with 'stuff'. It just does its job. All in all a good value. |

| I bought the Philips Norelco 7310 to replace my beloved Braun electric. I was a devoted Braun user- I previously had 3 Braun units. The 7310 outperforms them and is extremely quiet compared to the Braun(s). It gives a good close shave, no irritation, holds a charge for a very long time (about a week of shaves minimum), is lightweight and easy to hold. Best of all, cost about 1/4 of what my Braun(s) did. I highly recommend this product. |

| I bought this to replace a similar (corded, non-portable) Norelco razor which ate one of its teeth. It's very quiet, does a decent job shaving and the run-it-under-the-faucet-to-clean feature is extremely useful. I think my previous (10-12 year-old) Norelco got clogged up, contributing to its violent end. |

| I recently replaced my Panasonic ES8097A with this model, which is about half the price of the Panasonic. This Philips model is quieter than all linear blade razors that I've used. The first charge on the battery actually lasted 23 days for me, although I'm a pretty easy shave. The battery dies suddenly and then you can plug it in to finish a shave (with full power to it). The shave is close enough that I no longer do a manual shave once a week and this model does a great job on my neck compared to previous linear blade systems as well. For ~$45, this is a great deal so far. |

| Philips Norelco 7310 Men's Shaving System This is an above average electric shaver, for the price, under 29.00$ at Wally World, I have used Norelco triple head rotary shavers for over 15 years, well, I have replaced a few heads also, but for the price of this one, you don't have to worry about head replacement, just go get a new shaver for under 29.00$ and another good thing, they are guaranteed for a full two years, now, for the closeness of the shave, they are as close as a manual razor, your face feels like a new born baby's bottom.after you shave! So, I will give the 7310 a five star rating!! |

It never gave me any problems at all. I am very happy with how this one is made. The pop up head is a nice feature and makes cleaning it easy. I also like having a push button to turn it on instead of sliding a switch. I am glad that I did not opt to buy anything more expensive because I don't see how I'd be any more pleased. |

| I had previously owned an older Norelco model that I had gotten in high school. I had it for about 10 years before I started traveling for work. After several months of getting banged around in my luggage during business travels, it finally died and this is the replacement. I really wasn't looking for anything fancy...I just wanted something that would give me a decent shave. I don't have a very thick beard so my requirements weren't very heavy. So far, this thing has been a welcome improvement over my old model. Still just as easy to use, comfortable in my hand and even gives a closer shave with less effort. I'd buy it again. |

I've had several electric razors of several different brands ranging from $20 to $80, and the Norelco 7310 is my favorite. When you turn it on it actually sounds underpowered because it's much quieter than my previous razors, but it does a surprisingly good job. In fact I think it gives me a closer shave than any of my other electric razors, particularly on my neck, which is a difficult area. The battery also lasts through several shaves, the trimmer works well, it's easy to clean, and easy to recharge.
It's a great electric razor for the price. |

I decided to purchase this razor after reading most of the customer reviews and the product description. Here is what I found.
Packaging:
This razor arrived undamaged BEFORE the expected arrival day. The unit was shipped in the original packaging. The packaging was a bit difficult to open because it's designed for loss prevention at retail stores, which is understandable.
Product:
I keep my entire head shaved except for my goatee and this razor did a good job of shaving everything.
Thoughts:
I expected the closeness of the shave to be less than that of more expensive razors, but that was not the case. I am very happy with this product. |

This hair dryer is the third in a series of attempts to find the right hair dryer for my wife, who has long thick hair. The first one was a Vidal Sassoon that had ionic technology, but didn't get near hot enough. She was drying her hair for > 20 minutes.
The second attempt was the Revlon RV469 ceramic, which was much quieter and got hotter, but didn't have much air flow. Also, it is quite heavy. It was better than the first dryer, but not hair drying nirvana.
This dryer (Revlon RV544) has easily cut my wife's drying time in half. She has very thick & long hair, and the high heat setting makes quick work of it. It gets hot enough that I actually tone it down to warm for myself (I have short, thick hair) whenever I have to use the dryer. I think the air flow settings are perfect. The dryer is also nice and light, and fits in a bathroom drawer easily, unlike some of the bulkier models out there.
My wife thinks this is the best dryer she has ever had. We highly recommend it. |

I cannot say enough good things about this dryer! It dries incredibly quickly, is the lightest I have ever owned, and is very reasonably priced. I was going to buy the T3 Tourmaline for nearly 10 times the price, until I realized the seller would not honor its warantee on products purchased through Amazon. I have forever retired my previous ceramic dryer, which strained my arm so much, I considered installing a bracket on my body to hold it up. Other small details that make a difference: loop for hanging; buttons well-placed so on/off and cold setting are not hit by accident; comfortable to hold by nozzle instead of handle if desired.
I first reviewed this product in 2006. I don't use it every day, but it's held up for almost four years. I continue to be pleased with it. |

I was a skeptic when it came to hairdryers--they all blow air into your hair and it dries, right? Not so! The technology in this hair dryer is tourmaline ionic, meaning it reduces static, frizz, and boosts shine. I had a vidal sassoon before, and a Conair before that, and they were supposedly "ionic" but my hair was still quite a bit frizzy afterwards.
This Revlon is amazing, though--my hair is so straight, sleek, and shiny, without having to apply a bunch of creams or shining sprays. It saves a lot of time! It comes with two attachments (diffuser, concentrator)--I've only used the concentrator to straighten my hair and it takes around six minutes and works effectively.
Also, a HUGE bonus is its lightweight! The comparable Conair version (nearly same price, ionic) is so so much heavier, while this hairdryer is easy to move, so I can pick it up and use it all over my hair.
The only con about this as others have mentioned is that you have to hold it carefully or else your fingers will accidentally turn the hairdryer off--the buttons move easily and are near where you place your fingers to hold it.
Bottom Line: This is the best hairdryer for the price. When I used other hairdryers, my hair is very noticeably frizzier and less shiny compared to this Revlon. It's a reasonable price for the technology, and I definitely recommend it!! |

I figured at this price, how could I not just give it a try. Well... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dryer! Quiet, light, powerful and dryies my hair FAST. I highly recommend this product! |

| This is the lightest hair dryer I've owned, about half the weight of my previous model. I heard about this hair dryer on a morning TV news show and it was rated the best even over the $100+ tourmaline dryers, so for $23 I had to try it. It was sold out everywhere I looked...Target, Walmart etc. I finally found it here with a 1-3 week wait and ordered it. It did take about 3 weeks to get but It's so worth it. My hair is dry in almost half the time, the high setting is sooo strong. I highly recommend this especially if you have long thick hair like me that takes forever to dry naturally. |

My husband bought this dryer for me for Christmas. I have very thick, curly/wavy shoulder length hair. With previous dryers I would take forever blowdrying my hair only to have it frizz, then I'd have to use a flat iron. Eventually, I got fed up with trying to style my hair and just let my hair "go natural". I talked to my hairdresser who suggested an ionic/tourmaline dryer. My husband picked this one because of the good reviews.
Well, the first time I used it I was amazed. My hair looked as good as it does when I leave the salon and dried very quickly. Another big plus was that the dryer was very light. Previously, my arms would get tired and my neck and shoulders would hurt (I have muscle spasms in this area) trying to dry and style my hair but not with this dryer. It also eliminated the need for a flat iron which really cut down on time spent on my hair.
Other reviewers said the dryer was noisy and the buttons were difficult to control but I haven't noticed a problem with either issue. The buttons took a little time to get used to but once I used the dryer a few times, it was fine. Also, the only attachment I have used is the concentrator so I can't comment on the diffuser
This hairdryer truly is amazing. I even got my hair cut into a trendier style now that I can control it. If you looking for a dryer that will make styling your hair easier, faster and make your hair look healthier, thiis is it! |

| After looking into several reviews on blow dryers, I learned about the Revlon Tourmaline. All of the reviews were so positive. I've been suprised at how light the dryer is and how easy the controls are. The placement couldn't be better on the controls. The price was right as well! Blow dryers in this class are generally much more expensive. A very good value. |

| I was torn between purchasing this and the ConAir version of the same thing. I was turned off by the Conair reviews about the weight of the hairdry. I don't regret my decision at all! I have curly hair and I wear it both straight and curly. The high setting is perfect for when I straighten my hair and the light setting makes perfect curls. I couldn't be happier. |

I've wanted an ionic dryer for a while, ever since the T3 came out with all that hype. After reading enough positive reveiws about this dryer, and ionic dryers in general, I finally purchased this one today. I'm so impressed!! My hair is bouncier, shinier, has no frizzies, and dried in about 3/4th of the usual time. DH, who is really clueless about such things, even commented that it looked better than usual. It also feels really soft - which is nice, as both my skin & hair tend toward dryness.
I have pretty fine hair - but alot of it (i.e., the hair follicles are thin, but I've got a lot of them.) My hair generally looks shiny on it's own, is stick straight, but has NO volume or bounce. I turned it on the "high" and "warm" setting to get it 80% dry, then put the concentrator on and turned it down to "low" (it was drying too fast!) to finish. I use a 3 1/2 inch Marilyn Tuxedo brush to finish drying in sections, concentrating at roots and ends.
I would definitely recommend trying this dryer before forking over $300 for the T3 or another model. I can't see how those more expensive ones could do a better job. |

In the past dryer have always left my hair looking puffy and have had to run a flat iron through it. The Revlon Tourmaline is the best! My hair has never looked better! I feel like I just had walked out of the salon for a professional blow-out. You have to get this if you have thick and coarse hair. |

I live in a very humid climate and I have naturally curly hair so it has been impossible to get straight sleek hair without spending 20 minutes with a straightner. After using this (affordable!) dryer most days I don't even run a staightener through my hair. |

How about $110. dollars less and it does a great job. I have very thick wavey hair and this dryer cut my dry time in aprox. half plus it makes it super shiney. for the price it's a great dryer. So I sent back the T3 I had ordered and got my money back. |

| I must admit, I wasn't expecting the response that I received from my wife. After seeing that she was constantly complaining that she need a better hairdryer, I set out to research and try to find her the best one. After careful research, I settled on this one. I will never forget her reaction after her first time using it. The most notable claim obviously was how fast it dried her hair. Easily a quarter of the time it usually takes her and also how lightweight it was. She herself proclaimed that next to diamonds, this was probably the best gift she had ever received. I highly recommend this hairdryer for anyone who is looking to drastically cut their hairdrying time. |

I have been using the Sharper Image quiet ionic blow dryer for several years. It broke on me several times a year and I had to keep buying new ones. I finally got fed up with the poor quality and decided to try something new.
First I ordered the Andis 75335 Quiet Ionic/Ceramic Hair Dryer. It over heated and shut itself off whenever I used it. I do have long hair, but this shouldn't happen.
So, I returned the Andis 75335 Quiet Ionic/Ceramic Hair Dryer and purchased the Revlon RV544 1875 Watt Tourmaline Ionic Lightweight Dryer, Silver/Black. It's an excellent dryer! It is lightweight, as advertised. It leaves my hair much softer than the other two dryers and my hair dries in much less time. I sincerely recommend this product! |

I have thick, long, curly hair and have always air-dried. When I'm really in a hurry, I use my husbands blow dryer, but always find it leaves my hair looking frizzy and destroyed. I decided to purchase a hair diffuser, but couldn't find one to match the blow dryer we already have- so for not much more than the diffuser alone, I decided to try this blow dryer, which came with a diffuser & concentration attachment.
This blow dryer is amazing!
It leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth, which is the opposite of what I've always thought a blow dryer would do. Best of all, it dries super fast. In 5-10 minutes I am ready to walk out the door and I still have my curls!

This hairdryer is just what I needed. I had an old one I bought for $2 at a thrift store, and this one is as good if not better than that one because...
1. It's light. I bought this hairdryer at Target, and they have a display that lets you hold all the hairdryers they sell to compare the weights, and this one was definitely lighter than all of the comparably equipped appliances.
2. It's relatively inexpensive.
3. It dries my hair pretty darned fast. I've got thick, curly hair and with the diffuser on warm/high, this is a dream machine. I don't like to blow dry my hair after showers, but using the cold air button is handy 'cause it gets rid of the excessive dampness without burning my hair to nothing. |

| I bought this dryer a few weeks agao at BJ's wholesale club for only $17.99. It came with a free anti-frizz ionic brush as well. After trying hair dryers by Chi, Conair, and Wahl, I was so fed up. All those dryers took a very long time to dry my shoulder-length naturally-wavy hair (over 15 minutes), and they left me with frizz and no shine. The Revlon is fantastic. It only took 8 minutes to completely dry my hair, and left me with smooth beautiful shine. Note: I normally use SunSilk hydrating shampoo and conditioner, and Lanza Strait Line Smoother Straightening Balm. The model number on the box says it is the RV-5242 (I think because they are including the free brush). The brush itself it the BEST snag-free static-free brush I have used in years. I HIGHLY recommend this dryer to everyone. |

This is hands down, the best hair dryer I've ever had.
The hot setting is very hot but, you don't really need to use it. The warm works just as well and only adds a couple of minutes.
*What is amazing is the finished product - WAY LESS FLYAWAYS and my hair stays frizz-free all day (and that is NOT what I normally see with my hair).
Don't let the price fool you - this is a VERY GOOD hair dryer. |

First, great price for the product. I've looked at stores like Target and WalMart and couldn't find anything like this for this good of a price.
Second, this dryer works great. It used to take me 20+ mins to dry my hair with my old dryer (I have very thick hair). With this one, my entire head of hair is dry, completely dry, in less then 10 mins.
Third, I've had this obsession with split ends for years and years, where I would find them and get rid of them by cutting them off (I know, ridiculous). However, since I've started using this dryer, I haven't been able to find split ends at all. This has been a major relief to my daughter, who was sick of me spending so much time looking at my hair.
Fourth, I always have had static problems with my hair in the winter time, no matter what products I used in it. Since I've started using this dryer, and the winter season has come around, I haven't had any static problems at all.
As for the components of the dryer itself, I like that it has a warm and hot setting with the optional cool button. I have accidentally shut off the dryer while using it a few times, but once I got used to where the controls were, it hasn't been a problem.
All in all, this is a wonderful hair dryer that has saved me lots of time drying and has done wonderful things in regards to the condition of my hair. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a dryer. |

| I was a doubter too about the ionic tourmaline technology but after recently getting a flat iron of that type that worked wonders, I thought I would try a dryer too. This dryer almost makes my flat iron unnecessary. It let me blow out my fine, curly/wavy hair so smoothly it looks like I had it done at the salon -- something I achieved only with great difficulty before at home. I agree with the other reviewers it does get a little hot, but keeping it on the warm or keeping the cool shot button on helps. I think the airflow is great, because it helps straighten your hair without as much pulling. I purchased it because I read that in a test it performed as well or better than $200-$300 models, so I think it's $30 well spent. |

I recently purchased this hair dryer and I really like it. It IS very lightweight, just as the other reviewers have said. I'm also amazed and how quickly it dries my very thick hair!
Some reviewers have complained about the placement of the controls, but I haven't found it to be problem. In fact, I like how easily I can change the dryer settings while in use. And I find that that the amount of pressure required to actually flip the switches is sufficient that I don't change the settings on accident.
Other reviewers have said that the hot setting is too hot, but I don't agree at all.
Overall, I've been very satisfied with this purchase. |

| This is a powerful dryer, but it doesn't singe my hair the way most do. I'm used to a smaller dryer, so the heft took a little getting used to, but my small ones never felt like a salon dryer the way this one does. My one caveat is if you have a specific storage space, be sure to pay attention to the measurements. I didn't, but I lucked out. It stays in a drawer in my vanity that has an electrical outlet built in, and it fits in there with no room to spare. If it's even lying on a hairpin or its own cord, the drawer won't shut. So, I'm glad I bought it, and I expect we'll have a long and beautiful relationship. |

I have frizzy, wavy hair that is difficult to manage. Recently I got
a hair cut and couldn't believe how great the texture and manageability of
my hair was. I bought a new hair dryer, having currently owned the
Revlon 1875 without Tourmaline, put the concentrator attachement
on, which I had lost, and tried and tried to get the same results
as the hair dresser. I was frustrated. Finally, I tried using the
NEW hair dryer, which was this one - Revlon 1875 Tourmaline - fantastic
- it was like I had different hair or gone for some expensive hair
treatment. Not only does this dryer dry or hair fast, it makes the texture,
the layers, etc. look great. Buy it today! |

| Growing up I worked in hair salons and my sister is currently a hairdresser so I've used many amazing 'Professional' hair products and styling tools. I've always believed that 'you get what you pay for' and spent over $60 (at a hair show) on a professional hair dryer, the CHI Nano in Pink, thinking it would last forever and would do less damage to my hair. Well, after just 1 year, my CHI has stopped working although, it worked well while it lasted. I began to research online various models including serveral T3 models which are priced above $150. On my last trip to Walgreens I figured I would get a cheap hair dryer to hold me over until I had more money to purchase the one I really wanted. $21.00 later, and I have no regrets or intentions of spending $150! This Revlon dryer has really changed my perception on 'cheap' blow dryers. I would recommend it to anyone. It is SUPER light, not extremely quiet (it is 1875 watts!), and drys my thick head of wavy hair in the same, if not less time, than my expensive CHI dryer AND my hair is so soft even after I use my flat iron to tame those random wavy pieces =) I can't say anything but good things about this product. It's amazing! |

| I had read in many places that this was a good ionic hair dryer. It was indeed very light and quieter than other 1875 watt dryers I've used before. I found the high/low heat settings to match exactly what I had expected. The high heat was hot enough to dry my hair quickly but not so hot that I felt like my hair was about to fry. The strength of the fan was good as well. I felt like maybe the high fan could have been a little more, but it might be a psychological thing due to the quieter sounds. |

I also have a professional BaByliss Turbo hair dryer ($200). I bought this Revlon model because I wanted a lightweight spare for travelling. I've compared the two on a very thick head of hair.
The BaByliss is quieter, hotter, and blows with more velocity. It comes with a nice long cord. It dried a full head of long hair in 5 minutes.
This Revlon model is quieter than a generic Conair dryer, but I wouldn't say it's super quiet. It get's hot enough, and has adequate velocity. It is definitely lightweight.
Nonetheless, the Revlon dried the same head of hair in 6 minutes, with similar "ionic" results.
Overall, hey - you get what you pay for. But, for $25 this hair dryer is an excellent value. It does the job very well. I'm going to buy another one for a gift. I'm fairly impressed with it (given the low cost). |

| I got this dryer this week and used it a few times. It is not so noisy as others have said. Sounds more like a blender on low. The rocker controls are in exactly the right place for me because you can finish with a shot of cool air without taking the dryer away from your hair. It dries faster than my expensive ionic dryer and my hair looks and feels different, too....softer, shinier and styled the way I like it. If this dryer lasts a long long time, and keeps doing what it is supposed to do, I would say it is almost perfect. I just wish it was a bit smaller since I found it in a 'travel dryer' search. |

I have thick hair that's down to the bottom of my neck, and using this dryer along with my hair straightening iron, makes my hair is so soft, and keeps it's style! I highly recommend! |
Fastest hairdryer ever!

| I had an 1875-watt hair dryer that I thought I liked, but when it finally died, I checked the reviews on Amazon and decided to get the Revlon 1875 Tourmaline Model RV544. I had no idea what I was missing in the past! It's so light, my arm and shoulder don't tire from holding it. And the best thing is it dries my hair in half the time it used to. It doesn't seem hotter; evidently it's just more forceful. I love it and would highly recommend it to all! |
LOVE IT

Fits the Oral-B Vitality Sonic Braun Toothbrush
|
| Review Date: December 8, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Wayne Bengston, Cordelia, CA |
This fits the Oral-B Vitality Sonic Braun Toothbrush Type 3709(on charging stand)
I had trouble finding these, as the Oral-B website sent me to the wrong Amazon link.
They are exactly like the brush head that came with my toothbrush, so I am happy.
My old brush head had stopped giving me the clean feeling that it had originally gave me, and this replacement head made my toothbrush as good as new. I now have that clean feeling once more. |
Great Toothbrush Heads
|
| Review Date: February 28, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Tea Lover, CA, USA |
This toothbrush head does all of the work. Good for people who scrub too hard with the traditional toothbrush, therefore damaging your teeth (that is what my dentist told me the problem I had), eletric toothbrushes like this one prevent you from brushing too hard, and more efficient. Teeth feel really clean after using this toothbrush heads.
Price wise, it is much cheaper than the price in local drug store, plus you don't need to pay sales tax here, big saving. |

Best dental checkup ever after using Sonic Complete!
|
| Review Date: April 26, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Amber Grace Scameheorn, Kailua, HI, USA |
| I started using the Sonic Complete after my last dental checkup. At the time I was 3 months pregnant - as any dentist will tell you, your oral health tends to decline during pregnancy, due to various reasons. Already I had a lot of tartar buildup and some places to watch. Well, immediately after my check up I started using the Sonic Complete. I love that it times the brushing for you, 30 seconds per quadrant, so you do a thorough job. Last week I went back to the dentist for my 6-month followup, now 9 months pregnant, and anticipating the worst - but it was the best check up I've ever had. The cleaning was a breeze - I had hardly any buildup and everything looked great. The hygienist couldn't believe it, especially given my pregnancy, and agreed with me that it must be the toothbrush. So I'm hooked! I'll be ordering replacement heads now and will be having my husband start using it as well! |
sonic complete is great toothbrush

| Review Date: August 27, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Tao Zhang, |
| I bought the toothbrush refill to replace the head a few months after I bought the Sonic complete brush. So my comments are not just for the head. In fact, it is the toothbrush that matters. The sonic complete toothbrush is very efficient and comfortable to use and keep my teeth cleaner than regular toothbrush. The toothbrush feels like the sonicating cleaning. |

Oral B Sonic Complete Electric Toothbrush
|
| Review Date: January 12, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Rockster, Illinois |
| This is a great toothbrush. Before I purchased this toothbrush, I used a regular Oral-B toothbrush with the rotating heads. When the battery in that one finally gave out, I though I would try something new. This toothbrush does a great job getting my teeth clean. It leaves your mouth tingling when you are done. There is a high, medium, and massage setting so you can take your pick. The end result is definitely cleaner teeth. This toothbrush is worth the higher price. |

Never felt better

| Review Date: May 9, 2007 |
| Reviewer: S. Cottrill, |
| My dentist recommended this toothbrush for problems with my gums. Use of the Oral B Sonic Complete has improved the health of my gums and my teeth have never felt cleaner. I love the feature that tells you when to switch to the next quarter of your mouth. When I first used it, I used the mid setting but now use the high setting. The massage feature is also nice. My husband and I both use the toothbrush. |
Love it!

| Review Date: November 5, 2007 |
| Reviewer: A HaileSelassie, |
I actually prefer the Sonicare toothbrush, but switched to Oral-B sonic when my Sonicare finally conked out after 6 or 7 years.
The only reason I switched is because I was spending about $25 a pop for only 2 replacement brushes for Sonicare and Oral-B was around $20 for 3 brushes. Figured I'd save more in the long run... and after about a year of using it... the unit works pretty good and a have definitely saved a bit on the replacements.
Overall good value... I have it on subscription now.

| This product is exactly what I wanted. It arrives on time as promised. I have used Oral B Sonic Complete for approx. 5 years and will continue to do so. I recently purchased it for my 14 year old son and last year when I took him for his 6 month cleaning, the dentist was amazed at the difference in my son's teeth. My son's cleaning was minimal. I'm an extremely satisfied customer. Thank you Oral B and Amazon for carrying this product. |

Toothbrush refills are way overpriced
|
| Review Date: February 14, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Bryan L. Sabinsky, Arizona |
| The Sonic B Complete is a great toothbrush but the head refills are way overpriced coming up to 7 dollars for each refill head. These are not the upgraded motorized heads. They are just a regular brush that fits onto the motorized section. The price for these has never come down and there is nothing to warrant other than no one else provides a generic fit. The latest technology applies rotating heads and these are not compatable. So while the device itself provides good oral care you are forced to overpay dramatically for refills. |

Sonic Complete Refill Toothbrush Heads
|
| Review Date: January 13, 2007 |
| Reviewer: J. Schick, SF Bay Area, US |
| We've used the Sonic Complete System since last summer and have found it made a significant difference from manual toothbrushes - the heads do a great job in dislodging small particles and also seem to help in brightening the teeth. Oral B recommends replacing every 3 months - we think it can safely stretch to 4-5 months, particularly since the heads are somewhat expensive compared to manual toothbrushes with regular replacement. |

Calming and Clearing
|
| Review Date: November 26, 2008 |
| Reviewer: Jennifer Ford, Pleasanton, CA |
| I've used this mask for years. When I was younger (teens and early twenties) I had oily acne prone skin and used the entire Proactiv system. Now that I'm 30 and my skin has dried out, I use this mask once, or twice a week to clear my pores and to calm inflamed pimples. It works best after a shower when skin is soft and the "gunk," in your Tzone is soft, too. I apply, hang out for twenty or thity minutes and rinse with warm water, or exfoliate with a warm wash cloth. Results are not permanent, but for a few days at least, bye bye blackheads. Remember, for BEST results, use this mask after your shower, or steam your face carefully over a pot of hot water with a towel (to catch the steam) and apply when skin is warm and soft. =o) |

This product contains sulfur, a non-synthetic antibacterial compound. In theory, bacteria see the sulfur and absorb it because it looks so much like vitamin D to them. Through an unknown mechanism, this kills the bacteria. Neat!
On a side note, i paid $9.50 for this product. Their price fluctuates daily, so add it to your cart and wait for the best price. |

| I was once a Proactiv user and eventhough my skin is oily it became very dry. I quit using Proactiv and then realized I needed to use a spot treatment. I tried everything but it either left me looking blotchy or it overdried my skin. I ordered just this refining mask and use everytime I feel something coming on. It works over night! I spot treat lightly at night and in the morning I do the same under my makeup. I LOVE IT!! I hope it's a product I'll be able to obtain from here on out. =} |

| This product is the best spot treatment product I have tried. My son has had issues with random breakouts and this, as is advertised... when you dab on spot at night - in the morning its either gone or noticably improved. They sell this product at our local mall but you could not buy as a separate item and had to purchase entire kit. Was happy to see it is now sold separately! You don't use much so it should last for a while |

| Tried the proactiv line several years ago. Worked really well against my occasional breakouts, but had to stop using it when the products began irritating my sensitive skin. But I did continue using the mask just as a spot treatment. As soon I feel a blemish emerging, I put on a dab and it's usually gone by the morning. And if I don't catch it in time, the mask helps it go away quickly. I highly recommend it. |

| I bought this for my son, and it really works. He uses it once a day all over his face after washing with Pan Oxyl 10% (found in Walmart and drug stores) at night, and leaves it on all night. I have wasted a lot of money on many products, but have found that this was money well spent. By the way, we found that the regular Proactiv Solution 3 step program did not work all that well for severe acne. |

| Sulfur is making a comeback, after being a popular anti-acne medication years ago. Back then, it was stinky - as most sulfur is - but now in pharmaceuticals its scent is masked by fragrance. Regardless, the mask is great. 6% Sulfur is roughly what Murad and DDF masks have in them; they cost $30 for 2-3oz. Proactiv is $5. It doesn't burn or irritate the skin. Use once or twice a week on cleaned, moist skin. I use benzoyl peroxide (Neutrogena Clear Pore) wash every day; this mask is for the major clean up duty. |

| I have super sensitive skin. The fact that I can use the sulfur treatment on my face without a zing of pain emanating from my face attests to the wonders of this product. Now because I do have sensitive skin, I've had to forego almost any other product that bears the proactiv label. Benzoyl Peroxide gives my extremely sensitive skin a severely allergic reaction, but this- THIS my face cannot only withstand but it seems to love. It works great as a traditional mask; I cover the blackhead prone areas and recent blemishes and am left with a more healed, less irritated face. How many people can say THAT about an acne zapping product?! Recently, I've found it also does wonders as an overnight treatment. I place a small dollop on each blemish and allow to sit overnight as I sleep. The treatment hardens leaving the formula on my face where it belongs instead of on my pillow case where most formulas generally end up. |
Love this product!

This refining mask is (for me) far too strong to apply to my entire face, which is neither sensitive nor oily.
However, it works wonders when used as a spot treatment for those stubborn pimples that do appear from time to time.
I recommend this to everyone who has experienced these annoying pimples.
Within a couple of days, those ugly things are dried up and well on their way to complete healing. |

| Reviewer: Kelly Cupcake, |
So I've used tons of acne products, and when I say tons I mean pretty much everything that's available in stores, and then several prescription products. I tried Proactiv, and it really only succeeded in drying my skin out and actually making my acne even worse. The only product in the entire Proactiv system that I actually saw good results with is this refining mask.
I don't use the mask on my entire face, I just use it as an overnight spot treatment. I use a cotton swab to just dab a little bit on the surface of any pimples I have on my face, I let it dry, and I go to sleep with it on. Usually by morning the spot has reduced in size by at least half, or it's completely gone.
If you're someone who has dry, acne-prone skin, you'll have to use it sparingly, because it does really dry your skin. |
Works great, but does not heal things.

| Reviewer: S. J. Bice, florida |
Pros:
Stops pimples from coming up (when you catch them before they break the surface)
Kills the pimples already up
Does not have a strong smell
Cons:
Very drying
Does not heal blemishes, just leaves them dryed out scabs
Does nothing for blackheads.
I have had luck with this. It stopped a serious breakout in its tracks, which has never happened for me with any other product. After that week though, I stopped using on large areas (my jawline, where I breakout the most). I now only use it when I feel something coming up, and then moisterize the rest of my face. All in all a great product, but if you have dry skin already, you may want to pass this up. |

It visible reduced the redness and made me pimples disappear faster. I don't know what people are talking about when they say they have experienced irritation, breakouts or redness from using Proactiv, i didn't experience that. But everyone is different. |

| Reviewer: A. Alaidy, Port Orange, FL United States |
| I tried using the Proactiv system & my skin went from having an occasional break out to having MANY blemishes & pimples. I initially thought i would try it because i am a daily make-up wearer & thought if my skin was good/clear now, than using Proactiv would make it even BETTER. Not the case at all. I think the products themselves probably DO benefit someone with severe acne or very oily skin, but i am guessing that it was OVER drying my skin & creating more problems over all. As far as the Refining Mask- i have thrown away all of my other Proactiv products & KEPT the refining mask. I have found over time that if i noticed an "under the skin" blemish occuring, i would put a dab of the mask on & leave it over night for several nights. I'm not sure about others results, but it takes MONTHS of nighly application for the blemish to go down, then go away completely... or not at all. I still have a few marks on my face from pimples a few months ago that have never completely gone away. However, when i have popped the blemish (yes, i know that any dermatoligist recommends NOT doing this) & used the refining mask over night for several nights, then the blemish does seem to disappear (completely) within a week or so. I think the TV advertisement is completely false... i have never had a blemish basically be gone overnight, but it DOES seem to help & i still continue to use it as does my room mate. |

| i used this every other day and i've got moderate acne but my face was as clear as it's ever been. then, i stopped using it and broke out worse than i ever had in my life every place i had put it. i waited a few weeks and when i tried to start using it again i would break out wherever i put it. i still can't use it without it breaking me out. which is really lame because it worked wonderfully at first on most of my 'open' pimples. |
A highly effective ance treatment product, but...
|
| Review Date: July 16, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Skin Care Geek www.cureacneathome.com, |
I found the mask to be so-so, but it must be said that Proaciv is a highly effective acne treatment brand but, here's the catch - you have to keep at it. Firstly, it takes a few weeks before you see significant results. This is the case for any acne treatment product really - you just HAVE to be consistent and give it time. So, folks looking for a quick solution to their problem (i.e. - clearing up your skin in time for prom or a wedding, for example) will be disappointed.
Secondly, it is not a magic potion capable of "curing" acne. Once you stop using the product, your acne will return unless you take active steps to maintain the health of your skin. It is often believed that merely using a product can be the only change made to help your skin. Clear skin is about more than just using the right brands.... having clear skin is about understanding skin.
Overall, I'd say use this product if you can afford to consistently buy it. If you can't, understand the ways to help keep your skin healthy since, if you don't take those steps, it is HIGHLY likely be disappointed once you stop using Proactiv. |

Product Description |
| Phion Diagnostic pH Test Strips are the best strips available for discovering the pH of your body. Testing your pH is important because if your are overly acidic, you may feel low energy... find it difficult to lose weight... experience poor digestion... suffer from aches and pains... and even fall victim to more serious disorders. Too much acid can wreak havoc on your health! If you care enough about your body to test your pH, do it the right way. Litmus paper wont give you a truly accurate pH reading because it bleeds when it gets wet, which makes it quite a challenge to determine the color. pHion Diagnostic pH Test Strips differ in that the reagent is affixed to a plastic strip, so there is no paper, no bleeding, and no mess. Plus, pHion Diagnostic pH Test Strips measure a wider range (4.5 - 9.0) and they are the only test strips on the market that can pass through a urine stream without having the reagent bleed, making them exceptionally easy to read. Simply put, pHion Diagnostic pH Test Strips measure a wider pH range more accurately! |

| I was instructed to test my pH levels by my doctor, so I purchased the litmus paper strips first, but was not satisfied with the results. The results were difficult to read. However, I ordered these test strips and discovered they were easier to interpret. These strips show a wide range with smaller pH increments. I definitely recommend this product. |

i purchased this item after receiving an alarming result of my dog's urine analysis..professional lab result, & $50.00, showed a ph of 8.5..
i immediately ordered these strips, first thing the morning after receiving the strips, tested urine was 6.5.....
every morning result was the same 6.5...
two subsequent diagnostic lab tests in the weeks that followed, with no treatment to cure an elevated ph, showed a ph of 6.5 exactly what these strips had told me.....
if you need to check your ph, these strips really work. |

| Love these strips, so easy to use, nice large scale. I have read the other reviews and wanted to say that my husband and I did test our water and some other liquids and these definitely give you an idea on where the ph is. Just to give an example, our water from our faucet comes out really acidic ( yellow). Tested other bottled water and Deer Park comes out alkaline (green). Which is where water is suppose to be. Definitely worth it when trying to figure something out, internally or externally. Received them in a timely fashion as well. |

pHion-Diagnostic pH Test Strips, 90ct
As an individual interested in improving my health, I read extensively. Many nutitional experts recommend a diet that helps your body remain pH neutral or slightly alkline for maxium health. These strips allow fast, easy testing for pH results, without which, needed adjustments can not be made in an individual's diet.
I highly recommend this product which was purchased through Amazon quickly, easily and at a good price. |

| My alternative health resource recommended that I head out to a "fish store" to obtain some pH test trips to determine if I was overly acidic or alkaline. I immediately hopped onto Amazon in the hopes of avoiding the trip, and was pleased to see that such an inexpensive solution was available on Prime. I ordered the strips and they arrived the very next day, to my surprise. They were very easy to use, and the colors matched up well so that I was able to read my pH without any trouble. Do I believe that the pH of my body fluids is indicative of my health? I don't know about that, the jury is still out. But these strips do exactly what they say they do, and that's what matters here. |

| Reviewer: Liza Orrington, Illinois |
I bought these to test my saliva, since my teeth have been getting very sensitive.
I found my saliva is very acidic -- as low as 4.5 to 5.75, most likely due to GERD. (My urine, by contrast, is alkaline.)
I take prescription medication for reflux and don't have much heartburn, but I have a chronic cough and wheezing. The acid seems to be migrating to my throat and mouth. It was a wake-up call. Now I need to do something before I lose my teeth/voice. When I chew gum, my saliva becomes alkaline. The test strips have been very helpful in showing me this.
My doctor had suggested fundoplication surgery for the reflux, and I thought that was a bit drastic. I thought my symptoms were allergies. But seems they're caused by acid, not allergies.

|
| Review Date: August 30, 2009 |
| Reviewer: J. Segers, Canton, GA USA |
These strips have two color bars that make it easy to get a match so the accuracy seems to be better than normal litmus paper. In either case, be careful of the compact florescent bulbs. They do not emit all the colors of light so they will throw your reading off. Read the strips under a standard incandescent bulb or in the daylight for the most accurate results.
The only problem I have with these sticks is the container. It is a thin flat hard plastic. The lid comes off to expose the sticks, but the sticks are a little flimsy so they spread slightly. This makes it difficult to get the cover back on without touching the sticks. A round box that you shook the sicks out of would be better.
I will definitely purchase more when my supply runs out. |

These cartridges contain cleaners, cutting blade lubricants and a filter, to keep your shaver blades clean and in proper condition. They are very simple to install in the cleaning base; they last a month or so, are solidly constructed and they work very well. A plus for these shaver cartridges is that they work with just plain tap water; no alcohol-type chemicals are used here. You can choose to clean the blades with just ordinary soap & water, which Panasonic says is an alternative, but I don't recommend it unless you have to, such as when traveling, as you won't be lubricating them and you allow the finely machined blades to be vunerable to whatever damage may befall them. This is a fine product and truly worth the price. |

We all purchased the shaver knowing we would need these so I don't know why some are complaining of the price. It wasn't a hidden expense. You knew the information up front and could make a decision as to the annual expenses this would incure. Besides, the price has dropped on them in the past few months.
As for the cartridges themselves, there are no generics on the market. They are priced cheaper than the Braun cartriges I had been using. They are also not an alcohol based cleaner and therefore does not evaporate like the competitions. They can last much longer if you use the cleaner every other day and rinse off in the sink the other days. Depending on use, many could use the sink most of the week and the cleaner every 3 days or so. Not an option with most of the competition. This extends the Panasonic cartridges life well beyond the alcohol based systems. I am on the road out of state 2 weeks of every month and I was changing the Braun clean and renews every 30 days. Seems as though I would replace the Braun cleaner, use it that week, leave for a week, and come home to an empty system. Not anymore. HydraClean doesn't evaporate, makes it much more economical per cleaning, and only costs pennies per day in comparison. |

Works well, use distilled water for best results

The Panasonic cleaning system works pretty well - not as speedy as the Braun system, but it has some key advantages. Since the system uses water, you won't have to deal with evaporation loss. Plus, as others have noted, you can use the cleaning base a couple times per week and greatly extend the life of the cartridge.
Also, since it is water based, there's less packaging - the detergent is concentrated, and mixes with the water. Less plastic waste that gets chucked into the trash.
The cleaning system does get the razor a bit cleaner than just washing with water (or liquid soap and water, as noted in the manual), adds lubrication and a nice fresh scent. I've found that using distilled water in the cleaning base eliminates the white residue from hard water.
Goes on sale occasionally, so watch the price and stock up on the price dips. |

Would it not be great if your car can wash itself, change its oil, and refill its own gas tank? How about your clothes? Do they wash, dry, and fold themselves? Man, life would be so much easier if they did! This is one area where electric razors are ahead of cars. Ever since Braun came out with their "clean and charge" system, it seems that razor manufacturers have found ways to make razors maintain themselves with very little effort on the user's part. Panasonic's system is called Hydraclean. This review is about the cleaning cartridge for the Panasonic Hydraclean system.
It is hard to write about the cleaning cartridge without mentioning the Hydraclean system. After all, together they make up the cleaning system. One is only as good as the other. Let me say that the cleaning system does exactly what it claims to be able to do. It cleans, lubricates, dries, and recharges the electric razor automatically. The Panasonic system uses a very sophisticated process to do this. Instead of simply pumping liquid cleaning fluid from the cartridge to the razor stand, this Panasonic uses a solid detergent. The Panasonic WES035P is a solid detergent block with a small filter. The cleaning stand has a small, removable water tank. The cleaning system dissolves the detergent with the water, and then the water is pumped upwards to the razor. The razor is inserted upside down in the cleaning stand, by the way. At that point, the razor is cycled on and off. The liquid mixture washes away debris and captures them in the filter. After a set time, warm air circulated around the razor heads to speed up drying time. The detergent leaves behind a film of lubricant.
The Braun system uses an alcohol-based liquid. It also does a fine job of maintaining your razor. However, the alcohol has a tendency to evaporate, whether you use it or not. As soon as you open the seal on the cartridge, its useful life starts evaporating away. The Panasonic system does not evaporate, and you only use up its life when you actually clean the razor. So the Panasonic system does have its advantages over the Braun. The Braun cleaning stand is also sensitive to being moved, as the liquid can spill out of the cartridge. The Panasonic system is less-susceptible to that, since the cleaner is in solid form and the water tank is capped. However, you do have to change out the water in the tank. You can empty out the tank every time you replace the cartridge. And if you live in an area where the water is hard, I recommend that you not use water straight from the tap. You might want to buy a gallon of distilled water to refill your tank, which should last for over a year if you change out your cartridge each month.
I highly recommend the Panasonic Hydraclean system. It makes maintaining your razor a breeze. It does not get easier than this. The solid detergent that comes in the cartridges do have advantages over alcohol-based cleaners. And the price is very reasonable. I "subscribe" here at Amazon. The plan is for me to have a three-pack shipped to me every three months. |

These keep the shaver clean. Panasonic does it with filtered water while the shaver is recharging. The filters are hard to find locally at Target, etc. so I purchased from Amazon. Good price and fast delivery.
I'm still not sure that you need the cleaning of the heads; but did notice that the shaver seemed to shave smoother and closer.

This item works great with my Panasonic ES7056. This cleaner is no gimmick. It keeps my shaver working like new every single time.
A great advantage over other brands is that it doesn't use alcohol, rather a water-added substance that in the end leaves a pleasant scent (that you smell only if you put your nose right up to it).
Does what it promises... and at 10 bucks for 3 cartriges? It's a steal. |

Although I was initially skeptical about the value of Panasonic HydraClean charging base, after owning and using one for over a year now, I've been solidly sold.
Previously, I would tap out my razor after every shave, rinse it out about once a week with water, and then sterilize it before setting it out to dry. I can easily say that the HydraClean process saves me a lot of work each week! Although I still tap out my razer after each shave to extend the life of the cartridge, and empty and refill the water reservoir after each cleaning cycle to save on wear & tear, it's considerably easier to just drove my shaver in the HydraClean, press a button and walk away for a few hours than doing everything I used to do before.
Although the HydraClean packs are slightly expensive for the functionality they offer, I find that Amazon's discount, combined with the 15% off bonus offered for a subscription makes the value proposition much better.
As an aside, I use this with the Panasonic ES8249S Arc IV Nanotech Vortex Wet/Dry Rechargeable Shaver, Silver (which I have also found to be an excellent product). |

| I just changed the cleaning cartridge for the 1st time and it was fairly easy. When I got the razor and set up the cleaner/charger it was a little bit awkward to install the cartridge. This time went much better and I'm sure it will continue to get easier each time I replace the cartridge. The cartridge lasted approx 30 days as promised. The cleaning/drying/charging cycle is a bit lengthy but this isn't a problem for me. I previously used the Braun cleaning/charging system and the batteries in the razor failed prematurely. Braun's warranty repair procedure was impossible to deal with so I switched to Panasonic and thus far I have been pleased with the razor and the cleaner/charger system. |

Now, it's just a quick tap after your shave, then once-a-week, do a more thorough job by placing the shaver in your HydraClean System, where it cleans, dries and recharges all-in-one. An excellent choice for your shaving needs. |

| As I said in my review of the razor, this is just a great razor and cleaning system. I've had mine for over a year. The cartridges last longer than advertised (kind of like changing your oil in your car every 3 months)...but I also cheat a little and usually clean my razor under water when I'm done shaving and only run it through the system every 2-3 days. Easy to use. Great system. The price / availability is the best on Amazon. |

I have the Panasonic Vortex Nano HydraClean System II - Silver shaver and these replacement cartridges are just what the doctor ordered.
My original one that came with lasted a while (few months, I don't shave every day). They leave it looking and feeling like new, and completely disinfected to prevent ugly razor burn or infections.
Works great, and the subscription option is neat. Why pay shipping when you don't have to, and can receive these every few months at an additional 15% discount. Thanks Amazon since the store I bought this razor doesn't sell the replacements!!! absurd |

| I own both the Braun and the Panasonic self cleaning shavers. The Panasonic works best for me. The cleaning cartridges are a better design than the Braun being water based rather than alcohol based. Less toxic for the environment, less weight and cost to ship, easier to dispose of, and bottom line, do a better job of cleaning the shaver because of the built in filtration system in the cleaning cartridge. Shaver looks and smells brand new every morning and shaves as close as a blade. Well done Panasonic! |

Panasonic WES035P Vortex HydraClean Cleaning Cartridge and Filter (3-Pack)
|
| Review Date: January 7, 2008 |
| Reviewer: Peter M. Ronai, Salem, Oregon |
| These compact cartridges combine a filter and detergent and are inserted in the Panasonic shaver "base station" to effect automatic cleaning of the shaver. The manufacturer's recommendation is to change the cartridge monthly. I followed this recommendation initially, finding that the filter became quite discolored with trapped beard cuttings by the end of one month. However, since the shaver is a wet/dry shaver, I found that washing the shaver head and the cutting blades after each use and before inserting the shaver into the "base station" allows me to extend the life of each cartridge to at least two months, making the economics much more favorable. I'm not sure how much extra benefit the auto-clean function of the base station provides, compared with just washing the shaver head and cutting blades under the tap, but I suppose the detergent in the cartridge contributes to a cleaner result. |

Product Description |
| Wrist blood pressure monitors are portable, accurate and simple to use. They provide a convenient choice for those who want a second unit for away from home or who have trouble placing a cuff on their arm. The Omron HEM-650 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with APS (Advanced Positioning Sensor) uses Omron's patented IntelliSense technology, which inflates the wrist cuff to the ideal level with each use and offers fast, personalized, and automatic inflation for maximum comfort. No adjustments are required to select an inflation level--especially convenient for hypertensive users and for people with certain arrhythmia or heart disorders, because their blood pressure is more likely to fluctuate. And with the HEM-650's 90-memory recall with date and time stamp, as well as averaging capabilities for the last three readings, you can track your blood pressure and pulse progress as your work towards a healthier lifestyle. The HEM-650 also features a system that detects an irregular heartbeat, giving you an even better understanding of your heart's health. Plus, you'll have additional peace of mind knowing that the HEM-650 comes with a 5-year warranty. Because the HEM-650 has a wrist cuff, it is particularly helpful if you have a larger than average sized arm. The monitor fits those with a wrist size of 5.25 to 8.5 inches, and it ensures easier and more comfortable use. Note, however, that a wrist monitor does require proper positioning of the device at the heart level. Correct cuff positioning is critical when monitoring blood pressure, fortunately, the HEM-650 features an advanced positioning sensor that automatically confirms that the cuff is level with the user's heart, thereby ensuring an accurate reading. It is critical that when using a blood pressure monitor the cuff is the appropriate size and is properly applied. An ill-fitting cuff or an incorrectly-applied cuff can result in inaccurate readings. Consult your doctor or the included instructions for the proper application of the cuff.
