More Power For Your Money

I have had these AAA batteries for a couple of years. I use them for my mp3 player, my Sony sports radio, and my Mighty Bright clip-on light.
These give me about as much power as the regular Duracell Coppertop AAA alkaline batteries.
- Capacity
Although not mentioned in the product description, the capacity of these batteries is 1000 mAH. Duracell also makes these Pre-Charged 1000 mAH AAA Rechargeable Batteries (1000 mAH is the highest capapcity of AAA rechargeable batteries that Duracell makes as of this writing).
- Battery Life
I'm very satisfied with the battery life of these batteries. I frequently use my Might Bright light to read. These Duracell batteries give me 15-20 hours of light before my the light grows noticeably dimmer. After that, I can still squeeze some juice out of them to get a few more hours of usable light. And on my antiquated Cowon iAUDIO 4 player, I get about 10 hours from a single Duracell AAA Rechargeable battery!
I have both an Energizer and a Duracell battery charger. These batteries perform spectacularly no matter which charger I use to charge them.
- Pre-Charged Alternative
Whenever you're in a pinch and need some batteries (say you're out vacationing), instead of buying alkaline batteries, I'd also really recommend that you try these Pre-Charged Duracell Batteries. They're ready to go right out of the package, and after they have been depleted, you can pop them in your charger to charge them right up and reuse them again.
---
These Duracell AAA Rechargeable Batteries last a long time in my medium-drain devices. I'm more than satisfied with the performance on these Duracell Rechargeable Batteries.

These are working just great and are reasonably priced. I am using them (among other things) with my small portable speaker (for mp3 player) and they last at least as long as Sony 900 mAh if not longer. In theory, they should last little longer because these are 1000 mAh. However, I haven't done any extensive testing (I don't care that much, as long as they do their job, and they do)
Just nice batteries. I am charging them with SONY BCG-34HRMF battery charger.
I would buy this same package again. |
Amazing!

| Need some batteries that you won't have to throw out a month later? Have a wireless mouse or keyboard that uses AAA batteries? I suggest these little powerhouses. You can keep reloading them, which is great. I suggest you shell out a little more money for a decent charger, otherwise you're likely to only have these last a little while. |
Very satisfied

| I use both duracell and energizer AAA rechargeables in my BlueTooth transmitter and headset for my MP3 player, these Duracells last at least 75% longer than the energizers. Both brands are less than 3 months old so don't know what the long term holds but so far very happy with the Duracells. |
Great Buy

| I purchased 8 of these batteries to use for my TI-89 calculator, my mouse and my noise canceling headphones. I use them with the Duracell 15 minute charger. I would recommend these products to anyone. The battery has a long lasting life and I have not had any problems with my devices. |
1000 mAh Duracell AAA NiMH MADE IN JAPAN! These are wonderful!

First of all, let me preface this by congratulating Duracell's Japanese manufacturing plant for making such a wonderful product. To be able to fit 1000 mAh of electricity into such a small package is truly an achievement.
These are not only the highest capacity AAA batteries that I have heard of, but they come from an established industry leader, not some no-name company of questionable quality. And not only are they from Duracell, but they are made in Japan!!! The last duracell NiMH rechargable batteries I purchased from Amazon were Chinese-made crap. They did not live up to the Duracell name, and I was very disappointed in them. Now that I have had these Made in Japan (MiJ) Duracell 1000 mAh AAA NiMH batteries for over a month, I can attest that they are of excellent quality.
I just wanted everybody to know how great these batteries are, and the value is unbeatable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! |
A must have when you have kids.

| We started buying rechargable batteries when our son was born and can't imagine life without them. We go through so many batteries, it's amazing. Being able to recharge them is great and these seem to last a long time. |

| These batteries work great. They are a great investment, they help prevent waste and protect the environment. They can be recharged up to 1,000 before going bad. I found that they were several dollars cheaper through Amazon than at local stores. |

Duracell batteries are better than Energizer

Originally I purchased rechargeable Energizer batteries at the store. They didn't hold a charge.
I found these Duracell rechargeable batteries online and they are great. I have always thought Duracell made a better battery than Energizer. This seems to hold true with the rechargeables as well as the regular batteries from my personal experiences over many years.
I would definitely buy Duracell rechargeable batteries again. |

| If you want to save money on batteries, and don't like dumping used alkaline units, these rechargeable batteries are just the ticket. They're perfect for battery-eating cd players, game boys and the like. The way my kids go through batteries, these Duracell rechargeable items are great money savers over the longer term. They keep the kids' batteries in full supply too. Everyone's happy. |

"Sold by: Amazon.com, LLC"
They work fine, I guess, but Amazon.com LLC put the tiny little package into a HUGE box WITH NO PACKAGING. You probably could have fit over 50 packs of the batteries in that box, but there was just the two I purchased - getting smacked around the entire time they were being shipped. I wonder how long they will actually last. |
These are very handy

| They hold charge for a couple of weeks lying around if unused. Got the low end of the amp-hour for my purchase (1800). Better than other lesser brands that I have in the actual available voltage on full charge. Unsure about endurance. |

| I have a couple Sony rechargeables that came with the digital camera the hold the charges the longest. So I bought some more Sonys, and they don't last as long. The Duracells seem to hold the charge for long, maybe not as long as my first Sonys, but longer than recent Sonys. At least all my Duracells hold the charge consistently. |

Don't confuse those with Duracell 'Pre Charged' batteries
|
| Review Date: March 6, 2010 |
| Reviewer: NLee the Engineer, Nashua, NH |
I can't believe it! Just when we thought we've got the Duracell battery color scheme figured out, those folks at Duracell pulled another cheap trick out of their collective... hat!
To recall, here is the color scheme for Duracell AA/AAA batteries:
- Duracell alkaline cell has the famous 'copper top' and a black bottom
- Traditional Duracell Rechargeable NiMH (DC2400) cell is green and black in color
- Newer Duracell Pre Charged NiMH cell has a 'copper top' and a green/black bottom
The latest batch of rechargeable AA/AAA NiMH cells from Duracell all have the 'copper top' and green/black bottom, similar to that for 'Pre Charged' version. However, those cells don't say 'Pre Charged' on them. Instead, they have their capacity printed (2650mAh for Duracell DC1500 AA, 1000mAh for Duracell DC2400B4N AAA). It is important to know that: those are NOT the low-self-discharge type like Sanyo Eneloop. They are traditional NiMH cells, which have higher capacity but suffer from rapid self-discharge problem. So even though their prices may look attractive, those are no bargains.
Remember: "If it doesn't say 'Pre Charged', put it back!"

These batteries discharge much too quickly
|
| Review Date: January 29, 2010 |
| Reviewer: Harry Silver, |
Once the batteries are charged they read at the very top of the meter on my battery tester.
That being said, they should last much longer in various low-power demanding devices like remotes for TV, audio, DVD players etc. In the past I hadn't used rechargeable batteries because of their short life span. I mistakenly thought that as time went by, "technology" would have addressed this shortcoming and improved their performance and longevity. I hate disposing of alkali batteries and hoped I would get more life out of these batteries between charges. I was wrong. |
batteries discharge too quickly

| These batteries do not hold their charge for very long. I have used them for over a year for my MP3 player and they never last as long as my Sony batteries nor as long as my other 'no-name' rechargable batteries. I am using one of the best chargers on the market but it can't help these batteries. They also seem to spontaneously discharge if I store them and within about two weeks they are dead. I would never buy these batteries again. |
Defective old stuff

| I recently bought these batteries. The do not hold charge. Once I fully charge them in my cordless phone for 7 hrs and just remove it and put it back, it says charge again!!. Then I tried on my stand alone NiMH charger. It would show as fully charged in minutes, but actually do not hold charge. Memory effect?? The cheap price here means defective old stuff!! Keep away from these. |
