| This is a great product soft and strong. AND, it is great if you have a cat that won't stay out of the toilet tissue. REALLY! Our cat kept tearing up our toilet tissue until we started using the Aloe & E. He won't touch it now. There's omething about it he doesn't like. I hope this tip helps someone else. I am very happy with Cottonelle! |

I will keep this short because this is, after all, toilet paper and I'm not comfortable getting into too much detail. But I couldn't remain silent when I found a product that I like so well. My wife and I both are to the point where we won't use anything else. Yes, it gets used up faster than most other TP (it's thicker so not as much fits on a standard diameter roll). But it's worth it. REALLY.
While we are on the subject of TP I might as well share another tip. I always finish off with the moist flushable wipes. You just cannot beat them and you'd be surprised how much cleaner you will be. Fewer details are better, but seriously if you try them, I believe that, like me, you will never want to be without them. I no longer consider spending the extra coin to stay clean a luxury. It's now a necessity!!! Cottonelle Fresh Folded Moist Wipes Pop-Up Tub/Refill Combo, 84 Wipes (Pack of 8)
You're just going to have to trust me on this, because that's about all the detail I'm going to provide; the rest is up to you. Oh, one other thing, if this helps: We frequently have guests at our house and I can't tell you the number of times we've had people stay with us, ask about the TP or the Moist Wipes, and then make the switch themselves. It's that good. |

Cottonelle bath tissue with aloe and Vitamin E is very soft and this counts when you need to use a lot of it. The aloe and Vitamin E help to soften the bath tissue. Many people correctly note that it is easier on your skin than other brands of bath tissue like Scott.
On the bright side, Cottonelle never "goes stale;" if you like this product, stock up on it! The rolls are easy to store in any cabinet either as they come packaged or in individual rolls. In addition, the packaging clearly states that this bath tissue is safe for both septic and sewer systems--great!
However, I did observe some things. First off, even though this is advertised as being a "double roll," the roll has fewer sheets, so it lasts much less time than a product like Scott would. Second, Cottonelle just doesn't seem to work as well as it should. I wind up using more of it faster than I ever would have if I had chosen another brand. This disappoints me.
The product is indeed white but I think it has a slight scent to it. If you are allergic to scents or perfumes I would try another version of Cottonelle or another brand of bath tissue altogether.
All in all, if you must have soft bath tissue, Cottonelle is a great choice. If you want something that's a little more value oriented and still substantial, I strongly suggest another brand like Scott two ply bath tissue. It's a matter of personal preference so I give this product four stars even though I thought there was a drawback or two.
If you do choose Cottonelle, use it in good health! |

| I like saving money on bulk items but always feel a little funny about getting such a huge pack of TP. It was great to have it sent right to my door and not have to drag it around in a cart at the store, through the parking lot and in and out of the car....whew! What a relief to just open the door and take it inside. Great program for a necessary used everyday. |
good quality, rollls way too short
|
| Review Date: November 5, 2008 |
| Reviewer: Erika Alvarez, SF Bay Area |
| I read the other reviews and agree completely on the nice thick quality. I like the ribbed texture, too. But I am shocked at how quickly the rolls are finished. I am the only female living in a house with boys/men and it seems like we are needing to change the roll every 4-5 days. I realize this may be an unfair comparison with so many double rolls becoming standard these days, but it is irksome to say the least to be changing the roll so often. Just be warned... |

| Reviewer: WillieB, Silicon Valley, California |
| We are so disappointed; they have changed the "formula" and this product which was SO preferred in our family is now far less soft. It may be a bit stronger (but it was fine before), but we do NOT like the new ones nearly as well. We had loved the "with Aloe" version! |

I am a big fan of the Cottonelle double roll so I thought I would give these a try. They are nice and soft, which is why I am giving it 3 stars, but it's wound very loosely on the roll and doesn't last nearly as long as it should.

I just received this order. The product, which I have not used yet looks fine, BUT, I hand to cancel the subscription because it took me nearly 20 minutes to open the box it came in. AND I hurt my hand doing it.
It's only toilet tissue and why they need to pack it in a box that is so hard to open is beyond me.
Too bad.

| I usually use Costco brand --Kirkland--but thought I'd trust the reviews here and have it shipped directly to me. After all, figured if it had Aloe and E, got to be a step up, right? Not. The stuff falls apart in the middle of the task. Not pleasant. Now I've got 47 rolls left! UGH. Should've bought it locally and tried it before I ordered. |

Like a spider web soaked in vegetable oil

This was purchased accidentally. We usually use Cottonelle Original. This tears apart and feels oily. It was the single worst wiping experience of my life. At work, the restrooms are stocked with the huge industrial rolls that are narrower than normal and so thin you can almost see through it... I brought some home to use instead of this. If I didn't have the work stuff, deciding between Cottonelle Aloe or my bare hand would not be an easy choice to make. It doesn't even work to blow your nose. I almost didn't review it because the thought of giving it even one star was so unpalatable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this.
Cottonelle Original, however, is the finest toilet paper I've ever used. |
Thin, no noticeable aloe effect

| Review Date: January 25, 2010 |
| Reviewer: I. Peters, Dallas, TX USA |
| For years we had used Charmin Aloe but when that brand started to make the rolls significantly smaller, we decided to try out other aloe-infused toilet paper and went with Cottonelle Aloe & E. However, I can't begin to describe how much I hate this paper. First of, I cannot tell that this is supposedly paper with aloe. The Charmin was really nice that way in that it was very smooth, not so the Cottonelle, despite its ad claim of being "silky". It is as dry and "un-smooth" as any other ordinary toilet paper. But what really gets me about this one is that - not quite sure how to say this without triggering a TMI reaction - it leaves paper "behind". It literally shreds when you use it for - well - what you use toilet paper for. I cannot recommend this at all. The search for a good replacement for the Charmin continues... |

| Reviewer: Running Mama to Seven, Wouldn't you like to know, USA |
| I bought this because I had a house full of sick kids and couldn't get to Costco to get t.p. After careful consideration and pricing, decided on the Kleenex. Unfortunately, we have had to unclog our septic tank twice since switching to this brand. It is very durable, which for most things would be a plus....it doesn't break up, which on a septic can be tragic! It is also not absorbent. Maybe because of the added aloe and E? Really, the only positive thing I have to say is that it was delivered to my door when I really needed it, and that was due to Amazon and the ability to shop online. Since then, a royal pain in the fanny! |

| Paper breaks and fingers poke through EVERY TIME you use it! It doesn't matter how cheap you can purchase it, unless you like nasty fingers! Everyone in our household hates it! The kids can't understand why a company would make something so bad. Hard to say. (I normally don't use exclamation marks in typed text, but this product was so awful and frustrated our family so badly that I had to this time) |
Avoid this like the plague

| I bought the Cottonelle Aloe and E toilet paper because it was seriously on sale. BIG MISTAKE. Not only does this toilet paper fall apart, leaving tiny cotton balls in unmentionable areas, I had a horrendous reaction to it. I've never had a bad reaction to toilet paper in my life, and this stuff did it. You'd think that with Aloe and E, it would be skin-friendly. Let's just say, this is what I would imagine gonorrhea must feel like. This toilet paper has made me (and as a result of the reaction, my husband) absolutely miserable. Just terrible. I'm going out to buy some kind of toilet paper, ANY other kind of toilet paper, as soon as this review is posted. I am traumatized as a result of Cottonelle Aloe and E. |
