This unit will do two things for you. First of all, it is a "TENS" unit. TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. It is most commonly used to get rid of pain, particularly back pain- but TENS can work just about anywhere in the body that you hurt.
How does it do this? In short, by blocking your pain. Since pain is carried on the SMALL diameter nerve fibers, and the TENS unit stimulates the LARGE diameter sensory nerves- the result is that the pain signal is blocked by the tingly sensation that the TENS unit provides. Pretty neat. In case you're wondering, the pads help conduct the electricity from the unit to your skin. Know that they do wear out and lose their "stickiness" over time, so the set you get in the kit won't last you forever- but you can order more here on Amazon, among other places.
Now the other thing this unit is, is a muscle stimulator. This means that it can apply an electrical current to your muscle through the electrodes, and if you turn it up high enough, your muscle will contract and tighten. Muscle stimulators like this are used a lot in the rehabilitation of injuries, like knee injuries or after surgery.

I LOVE this little hidden treasure. After shattering a kneecap three years ago,
the dreaded sciatica has come back with a vengeance. I've done the docs, the meds,
AND the chiropractors - expending a great deal of money with little effect. So, after "googling" for sciatica solutions, I see this. Hmmmm, the only thing I loved about the chiropractor's office were the electrodes - and now I could have them
without the expense, much less the appointments? Why not? So, I buy it.
YES!!!!!! It's everything everyone said, and more. You can wear this little jewel under loose fitting clothes, and no
one's the wiser. Simply stick the electrodes where the pain is, turn it on (left & right channels), adjust them to your comfort levels,
and - VOILA! - much needed relief, for thirty glorious minutes. And, if you
need more pain relief, simply turn off both knobs, then turn them back on again, and you're good for another thirty minutes.
SIMPLE. All parts
are easily replaceable (already bought bigger electrodes), and VERY "accident"
proof (I can't begin to tell you how many times this sucker's been dropped)........really, this little
machine packs a wonderful punch. It's enabled me to STOP the 4 advil (or even worse, the
oxycodone) every four hours - and for that alone, I'm grateful - it's been worth
every penny!

| This works just as well as the professional unit I tried. We have had it for over a month and the battery has lasted and so have the electrode pads. It is about time to change the pads so you will want to stock up on them since they do get less sticky, making the unit less effective. Overall we are very satisfied and it is well worth the $95 price! |

It Works, it Works, it Works! I have a very severe pain in my lower back on the right side. Standing walking and sitting all cause pain. I play Tennis 3 times a week for about 3 hours at a time. I take a Vicodin and put on my Back Brace and play - the longer I play the more painful it becomes to the point where I can't even bend over to pick up the Tennis Balls. Yesterday I put the Tens Unit on for 45 minutes before I started to play and I played absolutely "pain free" for 2 1/2 hours, yes after 2 1/2 hours the pain did come back so I will have to put the Tens Unit on for a longer period before I play. I couldn't be happier with the results I have received and just placed an order for 80 Pads because I know I'm going to get a lot of use and relief from this little machine. When I ordered it I got free 3 day delivery it was delivered in 2 from the East Coast to CA. I am so very pleased with product and the seller.
JUST A NOTE: I just recently returned from a Cruise (that required going through 3 Airports and security screening in the Cruise Terminal)my Tens Unit was in my luggage and it was not questioned once and you do not need any kind of special paperwork to get it through Security. |

I have never written a review, that's how much I love this machine!
I have a herniated disc and my favorite part of going to the physical therapist is the Tens Machine. Now I have one of my own! This machine works wonders. I'm not in complete agony anymore and the product is just as effective as the Tens machine I've used at the chiropractor and the physical therapist. It's definitely worth getting, especially for people with chronic pain. |

| No too much to say, I recently pass a cervical spine surgery due to a job accident in which I had two discs broken, my therapist suggest me to buy one of this due to I am a frequent traveller, it is a very helpful unit which provide me a lot of help when I am outside my house and some pain appears, so if you have pain problems and you need to travel this is a highly helpful device. It is important to remark that for travel in US the manual very clear states that you must carry a medical prescription buy it!!!! |

Easy to set up, easy to use...then just sit back and enjoy.
I have degenerative disk disease in my lumbar area meaning I am destined to deal with pain almost every day. My doctor has prescribed a perpetual refill of painkillers, but using this unit twice a day for 20 minutes each time makes it easy to skip one or two doses of pills a day.

I purchased this unit about a month ago. It really has been everything I expected: Small, powerful and pain relieving. The unit is highly adjustable with a number of highly-variable settings.
Unfortunately the unit started to malfunction - this is where it all gets good though - I contacted LGMedSupply and Larry (I'm assuming he owns the company) immediately replaced the unit with a brand new one, no hassle, no questions asked. He was incredibly diligent in following up with me and made sure I had the replacement within a couple of days.
Both the unit and the seller are excellent - I would purchase from LGMedSupply ANYTIME!
This is the second TENS unit I've had - the first was from my doctor's office and was an entirely different brand and was not digital. I prefer this particular TENS unit from LGMedSupply much more than the one I recieved from my doctor; it has far more accurate and varied settings and does a wonderful job of relieving pain.

I have been dealing with chronic back pain since 1998 (Bulging/Herniated L-5). It has gotten progressively worse over the years. As each year passes I get worse and the pain increases. I am lucky to get 4 hours of sleep due to the sciatica. I have tried numerous treatments over the years; pain management, PT, chiropractor, epidurals, and facet block injections, etc. None have brought me long term relief.
During my last go-round at physical therapy, my therapist let me use a Tens unit at home. Once my therapy was up my therapist let me borrow the unit for several months. I dreaded the day I was asked to return it... It was a great unit, one you can only buy if you're a doctor or therapist. I've tried a few other Tens units over the years and none have came close to helping me like the unit my therapist loaned me. That is until now. This little portable unit is amazing! Once I found the settings that worked for me I feel alive again. I can manage my pain for the most part. If you're tired of pain, tired of that constant "toothache" in your leg and tired of sleepless nights, I highly recommend that you purchase this unit. You can't beat the price! It is worth every penny! I would have paid twice as much had I known going in that it would help as much as it does!

| I've owned other units like this before but I have to admit this is the best so far. I typically suffer muscle spasms in my lower back and during the year end up having to go to physical therapy to get treatment which includes electrical stimulation. Even with insurance, after a couple of visits, the co pays add up. The day I received, I started using it and I've been quite pleased with the range of features. I even started my wife using it to help her shoulders which are troublesome at times. She is already feeling the benefits after two uses. I am certainly feeling the benefits because now I can get the full range of motion I need to do the abdominal exercises I do at the gym. I'm in pretty good shape but this ensure I can push myself and get quick lasting relief. You will be satisfied that you bought this product. It you're looking for price and value, this is a good place to start. |

| This was the exact unit the chiro was using. Never thought about buying it until I saw my brother had it. Now I wear it around the house while I am doing my daily tasks. Have even worn to work when I was really hurting. My brother had it right..."if you are going to be sitting at a desk all day, why not do some rehab...". Works as instructed. Remember to order an extra set of sticky pads. I have used mine 20+ times and they still work fine. Don't do what I did and try sleeping in them, they peeled off...bad idea. |

I used this for dealing with labor pains when I gave birth to my second child. It worked brilliantly, and I would highly recommend it to any expectant mother.
If you're one, I suggest getting it in the seventh or eighth month to give you time to use it before delivery. I practiced with it for about a month, using it to deal with aches and pains, but also just to practice. When the time came, I started on a low setting and gradually worked my way up as my contractions grew more painful. The wonderful is that you can wear it and still walk around, and that movement also helps speed up labor. I really hated to have to take it off when it was time to give birth, but it got me all the way there with much less pain than I experienced with my first child. It's not for everyone, but if it does work for you the way it did for me, you'll find it invaluable. |

| This is the second TENS unit I've purchased. The first was a cheapie version from the "As Seen on TV" store. It was pathetic in every way. This unit was not even that much more expensive and it has everything right. I like the way you can adjust every aspect of the pulses. If you find it uncomfortable in any way you can adjust the various settings until it feels just right. Some of the modes feel stronger than others and I find myself always using it on Max power but that is not to say that it doesn't pack a punch. It certainly does, I just like it strong. Anybody else that I have let try it won't dare turn it up past half way. |

| This baby's got a punch! For a small portable device running off a 9V battery it's very powerful. Rarely can I turn up the power above 3 on a 1-10 scale. I've used the ones at the chiropractor many times and this thing will give it a run for it's money. It's a good idea to get a couple of extra sets of pads, especially if someone else in the family is using it. Great for wearing while working or walking if you like. |

| After a shoulder debridement and decompression, the pain was really bad and all the meds I was given made me sick after the second dose. I started physical therapy two days after surgery and the pain continued. One day my therapist suggested electrical stimulation. I was amazed. After a fifteen minute treatment, I was without pain for six hours. After discovering this happened every time I used this, I decided to look for something I could use at home, more often than twice a week. I found the LG-TEC combo TENS and EMS unit. It is the only thing that still removes the pain (the TENS part) and I hope is promoting healing (the EMS part). I still have pain, but this unit is terrific since I can use it as many times a day as needed with the same pain relief. |

| The individual electrode placement is more flexiable than the belt that I previously had. They can be spaced differently to suit your situation and can be used for leg or shoulder pain as well. The EMS feature can be used for leg cramps or muscle problems. Pads can br hard to apply. If using for shoulder pain take care that no current flows across the cheast just shoulder and arm. |

| I was a bit skeptical of E-stim units being a viable replacement for those used by my physical therapy provider. However, this device works very well. I hurt my shoulder fairly badly and use this device a few times a week to stimulate blood flow to help repair or maintain the connective tissues around my shoulder. I typically use it for 20 minutes in the evening while watching some mind-numbing TV. I would highly recommend this product to folks seeking some E-stim at home. I would recommend buying some more pads since they appear to wear out rather quickly. |

After searching for hours I narrowed my decision down to this unit from LG Tec. The unit arrived very quickly with the free shipping from seller. It was USPS priority mail and only took 3 days from East Coast to Los Angeles.
After unpacking my order I found there was an error on packing. I ordered an extra low back electrode, but instead they shipped me a butterfly electrode. I emailed them and they sent out the correct item and let me keep the butterfly electrode. Bonus!
The unit works as I would expect. Exactly like the chiro's office. Put the electrodes on the area of pain and turn it on. The unit has 5 programs - and I ended up settling on one that starts slow and gradually ramps up to maximum intensity then back down again. Great for me! The build and finish of the unit is nice. There is a plastic cover at the top that protects the intensity setting knobs from accidental change- great thinking! Its looks like something that could potentially break off if you're not careful with it.
The pads have been put on and off about 10 times now (10 uses) and they seem to be beginning to lose their adhesiveness. But that's one of the caveats of using this type of therapy. Be prepared to order extra pads if you are looking to use this consistently!

I almost deducted a star for an issue I had with the technical support phone people. I called in to LG TEC (phone number on their website) and when I got the tech support guy on the phone and ask my question he asked me to repeat it, then there was a pause and then a bunch of laughter in the background. I was asking about the electrode placement chart on their website- it said to set the unit to 50 - 100 Hz Pulse rate. The unit only goes from 1 to 5 Hz. He didn't know what I was talking about and seemed irritated. I asked him if he would like it if I called him back at a better time. He told me to call a different phone number to get my issue resolved. I ended up just choosing the 1Hz setting. But I'm still think that the unit and seller deserve 5 stars. I hope the seller corrects this customer service issue for future customers.

It was reasonably priced and I would recommend it. I believe it is every bit as good as the unit in my Chiropractors office. This will pay for itself in no time. I would also recommend extra sets of pads with the purchase. I haven't use it 20 times yet and am still on my first set, but you will need them as the adhesive will become weaker from body oils etc. |

This therapy works and it's great to have it at home and not have to rely on a chiropractor or Physical Therapist for this. Easy to travel with and use while at work. The LG-TEC Dual Combo is an excellent product with a good variety of settings, dual outputs and appears to be well made. You will get multiple uses with the sticky electrode pads that come with the unit but I would suggest ordering additional pads. The unit has a timer which is handy and the battery that is shipped with the unit seems to last and last. |

The best part is that he can use it on a daily basis - no more expensive therapy treatments that only give relief for a day. It has a wide range of adjustments, so you can have a very soft and gentle treatment or a stronger treatment. It is great for lower back and between the shoulder blades back treatments. The pads really are reusable. We have used it for several weeks, on a daily basis, and the original pads still stick. I recommend this for anyone with cronic muscular pain. |

I bought this unit for inbetween chiropractor visits during a recent slipped disk issue. My chiro is only in our local office 2 days/week, so it's convenient to have my own TENS machine for home use.
During chiro appointments, my dr would hook me up to a TENS unit for a few minutes, then adjust my back (chronic lower back pain w/ frequent slipped disks). The TENS unit is so heavenly that I asked him the specifics about intensity, pulse rate, pulse width, etc and I use the settings on my home TENS unit now.
It works great, I have had it since Thursday & have been using it in 30min increments ever since. I've had zero problems or complaints.
I haven't used the electrodes that came with the unit yet, as my chiro gave me the ones he put on my back @ my last appt & I've been using those. So I cannot vouch for the quality of the included electrodes.

| I love this product. It can relieve muscle stress associated with migraine headaches. It's very soothing and disturbs the "focus" of the muscle tension. No drugs needed for this to work. Just a 9V alkaline battery. 30 min to an hour and my muscle tension almost forgets what it wanted to do. |

Positive: Absolutely worked for my lower back pains! Injured my lower back working out and used this to relieve pain without medications. Well worth your money. Very durable as well (I dropped it several times, no problems).
Negative: No specific electrode placement and mode setting instructions/suggestions. You need to seek (electrode placement and mode setting) advice from your physical therapist or chiropractor.
Overall: I would highly recommend this product. Excellent price, function, durability and multiple purpose use. You can't go wrong with this one. |

| The price for this from this seller is great -- free shipping too. This was a worthwhile investment for me, who has low back issues. I use it before going to bed after a good dance workout and it eases the pain so that I could fall asleep without medication. Ye-hay! |

| As a product to ease away joint aches and pains, this small and compact unit does a stellar job. Its manual is adequate, but could be improved by the addition of more data for use such as settings recommended for various types of treatment. A literature list would also be welcome adddition. |

| When my Chiropractor's machine stopped working and wasn't being replaced, I was at a loss. Although I have not had it long enough to test it's durability, it has been easy to use and convenient. Just put it on your belt loop, attach the electrodes to the problem area, and go about your business. The unit is small but can deliver quite a stimulus even at 1/2 power. Full power would be too much for about anyone. |

I wanted to buy a TENS product after trying Compex at a race for recovery. The Compex are $579 and $429 for the high and lower models so I looked for a cheaper alternative. I found this one and ordered it. I got it today and tried it out. I'm moderately happy with the purchase and how well they work. They are in no way as good as the Compex for a few reasons. First the Compex has a rechargable battery whereas this one uses 9v batteries. Also, the Compex has 8 electrodes whereas this one only has 4. The power output from the Compex is much higher than this one. Also, I think the power level from this one goes down much sooner as the battery dies down. Lastly, the programs are fewer and not as fancy as the Compex. The compex has more programmed options whereas this one is more manual in nature.
Having said all that, this unit works as promised and is a much cheaper and good working TENS as far as I can tell. It felt almost the same as the Compex and it's signal power is pretty strong. I used the Compex at level 35/100 and this one's top level was about equivalent. I think this is a cheap way to test out a TENS and see if it's for you. I'd hate to spend $579 only to not use it and have it sit around.
I'm happy with the product and think I'll be using it frequently as part of my training and recovery regimen.

Originally I wanted to purchase OMRON products, but its phsycal therapy products are not sold in USA. Now I'm very happy with this LG-TEC stimulator. It is much smaller than I imagined. Now really sure how well it helps my frozen shoulder problem. I'm just hoping it does some help since my doctor does the same procedure as part of physical therapy.
Only drawback is pads'life. Even though I use it after taking shower the pads began losing stickiness after 5~6 times of use. I had to order bigger pads later on. Another minor drawback is its very mechanical looks.(well, it's very personal, though.)

After using this unit a few times it has not met my expection. I have seen no improvement in helping relieve pain after my surgery. It is advitized to be a stimulation for muscle and pain relief. In reviewing this unit with my nuerosurgeon and the physical therapy group it doesn't really meet the critier for muscle stimulation.
I would like to return it and receive a refund on the unit. |

LG MED SUPPLY They should have sold me the item at the price stated. If a company make's a mistake in pricing the should honor that price. What kind of company does this, were is the Customer Service. I emailed them back. It was there mistake not mine even if the error in price was 1 cent. I printed the page with the stated price for the unit. I have proof of the stated price. I'm waiting for them to reply. After carefully reading all the TENS unit reviews from LGMedSupply sold by Amazon, I decided to order this particular unit. The main reason being that it has EMS as well as TENS, and had the least number of negative reviews about the obvious bait and switch program that LGMedSupply is running through Amazon.
Upon receiving the package, from Amazon, btw, not LGMedSupply, I found the LG-3000 was sent me. This is a TENS only $30 unit also sold by Amazon. I called Amazon customer service and was told that this unit was NOT eligible for refund, only for replacement. Customer service was contrite, but would not admit that this has been a problem with these TENS unit shipments. They would also NOT refund my money, but insisted upon sending me the 'correct' unit. No where does it say that this unit is NOT eligible for refund and since it is sold by Amazon, truly should be according to Amazon's own statements.
BTW, I had to give it a star, even though it deserves a zero.
Be very careful when opening your package and make certain that it is the unit you ordered. |

Up date ... LGMed Supply has gotten in touch with me, admitted the error on their part, in shipping the wrong item and the displayed item ont he WebSite. They are shipping me the correct item and taking back the inncorrect item. I can't ask for more. I'm changing my rating to "GREAT".

Displayed on the WebPage is the "Twin Stim Plus" What is shipped from LG is the LG8 which is a lesser device.
This is a classic "bait and switch" and borders on fraud .... the devices although similar have no comparison. I am still looking for how you get what I ordered sent to me and replace the item that was shipped. I'd be very careful buying any thing shipped from LG Med at this point. |
