| I've taken this product for some time and I can tell you it definitely works. Even with the first dose, I could feel the difference. It immediately improved the PH of my intestinal tract, I stopped having trouble with diahrrea and loose stools. I've been taking it for several months, and I can tell you it has helped me. As for the reviewer above who stated they had been taking it for three weeks and still had Candida, OF COURSE YOU DO. It takes several months to fully get a good case of candida under control. The literature that comes with the product explains this. The product is pleasant tasting and easy to take. It also suggests that you take a fiber supplement to help cleanse the colon of the dead and dying candida organisms. This is very helpful and I recommend it. |

| I have a 4-year old child with autism. She has numerous problems with her intestines--leaky gut, numerous food allergies and yeast problems. I've been taking Threelac for one month now at 2 pack per day. I had recently been diagonosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. The pain and fatigue was so severe, that I could not function normally, (and I have young kids at home)and 85% of each day was spent in the bed (By the way, I'm only 31) I would do what was necessary for my kids and the rest of the days I spent in the bed. I wasn't satisfied with the diagnoses of fibromyalgia or CFS, so I started HUNTING down research on what's really wrong with me. That's when I discovered it was candida and miserably failed the saliva test plus all the online assessments. I realized my candida got out of control because I had been on at least 9 courses of antibiotics for recurrent upper respitory infection and ear infection over an 18 month period plus had major surgery where they pumped me full of antibiotics as a precautionary measure.
After one week on Threelac, I no longer had days where I spent in the bed. Now, one month later, I am feeling so great, my energy is up, no more pain. I'm even getting ready to start my own business that I had been delayig because I just couldn't function. One supplier mentioned that you will plateau in your symptom relief. I feel I have reached my plateau point so I will increase my dosage to 3 pack per day for one more month then go down to the one pack per day. To replace the friendly bacteria, I'm also taking Pearl Acidophilus by Enzymatic Therapy. (Which by way contains the 2 strains of bacteria that was added to make Fivelac.) |

| At six years old, my daughter was starting to unravel mentally and physically. She was anxious all of the time, could not handle the smallest change in routine, was regressing in her learning, and would spend hours locked in her room, re-arranging everything in her room, and insisting on sleeping with very bizarre items. She would also complain of stomach cramps, and would periodically run high fevers and experience vomiting and diarrhea. I started to suspect a food allergy, and found information relating to Candida and leaky gut syndrome and the effects when combined with food allergies. When she testes positive for yeast, I immediately started her on ThreeLac, and cut gluten and casein from her diet. She experienced some withdrawal for a couple of days, but has blossomed since then. She is a child that we have never known - happy, relaxed, well adjusted, social, and confident. No more cramping or vomiting. | I've struggled with yeast infections off and on for years. Last August I got one from taking an antibiotic and it never went away despite many 'pink pills' from my doctor. Then about a month ago I had to go on another antibiotic for a severe sinus infection. As a result my yeast infection became unbearable and I got a yeast infection in my mouth. That was it for me. I started researching. I already took acidophilus and had been for years. I didn't see cutting out sugar completely as an option (my husband's deployed to Iraq, this is not a good time to give up comfort food!). Then I stumbled across a website listing all the symptoms of candida. I felt like someone had been taking note of all of my complaints for the last 15 years! Then I found a mention of Threelac. After much research on Threelac and reading all of the reviews I decided to give it a try. I especially liked the review that said they didn't change their diet at all! After taking Threelac for about 9-10 days the infection in my mouth was completely gone! I'm almost done with the first box and am ordering my second. The yeast infection is slowly getting better, but I've had it for so long it's not suprising it's taking longer. And I'm starting to notice other things. I don't wake up in need of a neck and shoulder massage and my morning headaches are much better. I'm not feeling as fuzzy headed and I'm starting to have more energy. I started off taking one per day, then after a couple days moved up to two, then after another couple days moved up to three. But after a couple days of taking three a day I became SUPER constipated. So I moved back down to two and I am doing really well on two. | For those of you skeptics, I am a woman who works for a Bank in Bend Oregon (And was not Coersed to write this nor do I work for "The company"). I am a wife and a daughter and have many great friends. I also suffer from IBS, and Candida. I was tested for yeast in my intestines 4 months ago and it came back moderate-high. I unknowingly suffered from candida for two years before I found this product.
I strongly believe I have suffered from an overgrowth of yeast since I was a baby, but it was not until extreme stress that my body began to literally shut down due to candida. Obvious symptoms began to arise when I was sixteen years old and progressively became worse.
I could not maintain a healthy weight; eating became a painful chore. My stomach twisted into knots when I tried to eat food, and I became chronically nauseous. I went from a petite weight of 107lbs on a 5'4" frame to a dangerous 89lbs. I was severely depressed, lethargic, anxiety-ridden, and had rancid breath that I could not eliminate.
When I managed to eat regularly, I could not gain weight, but continued to lose it. At one point, I was drinking weight gain malts that consisted of 1,500 calories so that I could sustain a measly 95lbs.
I could not think clearly or complete the simplest tasks without wanting to cry or to go to sleep. At the end, there were days when I would stare at the ceiling without one coherent thought. When I was lucid, negative and hopeless thoughts swarmed me. I was fearful of everything; the simple task of driving turned into a daring test of nerves. There was a short time period when I was agoraphobic. I was sure I was crazy, and possibly dying.
To make matters worse, my doctor diagnosed my condition as anorexic, and recommended that I set an appointment with a psychiatrist. It did not matter to her that I was obviously TRYING to gain weight, and that I was unhappy with my current condition. She did not want to believe anything I said because I was eighteen - an age when most girls wanted to be skinny.
I was wasting away and no one knew why.
Unsatisfied and desperate, my mother began researching my condition. She realized I was suffering from severe candida. I had almost all of the symptoms. She ordered Threelace, and within the first day, I was a different person. The fog lifted, and for the first time in a long time...I was happy.
My bad breath was gone by the next morning, and I had more energy than ever before. After a month, my appetite reawakened, and while the weight did not come back instantly, it eventually returned (though not fully). What was important was that I was maintaining it. My depression disappeared. My anxiety was manageable. My life had been saved.

| If you have a rash that won't go away, you might want to try this product as I did. I tried several topical ointments to no avail. The rash started disappearing the first evening. I don't know if it was related to a yeast or fungus infection, but I do know that it worked. |

| I have been taking fivelac for a couple of months for candida and am very pleased with the results so far. My skin problems cleared up within the first month (I had itchy, yeasty breakouts on my ankle and finger for approx 6 months beforehand) and also my joints are feeling better. My teenage daughter has just finished a course of antibiotics for an ear infection so I am trying her on the threelac to 're-stock' her good bacteria. At 40 I have had more than 6 doses of antibiotics so far and am convinced (along with sugary and yeasty foods) that this is what caused my candida in the first place so I hope to prevent that for my daughter. I had tried pro biotic yoghurts previously and other than feeding my yeast infection with all the sugar in them, they didn't work for me. All I will say is, just because a product doesn't work for you, it doesn't mean it is a scam, which I note some people have commented on on these ratings. | Due to longtime job stresses I had developed a substandard immune system. A difficult infection developed, and I also had developed a chronic case of irritable bowel syndrome. I was fatigued, depressed and even had suicidal thoughts. I happened upon threelac as a result of one other infection-sufferer who shared time on a forum regarding the disease...he told how he got his life back through threelac. I'm always skeptical of such an easy fix, but in desperation I decided to try some. I felt better in a matter of days. Now, after a couple of years of taking threelac I have a completely active life, normal bowel movements and am grateful for the product. I had tried several other types of probiotics sold in local stores and none helped at all. I've tried to eliminate threelac from my diet and found that I do lose ground, energy-wise, so unless something else cheaper proves effective, it will continue to be a part of my daily routine. | I tried different kind of probiotics, but this one is the best. If you have problems with candida especially, this is definitely what you need. All probiotics are made of a blend of different bacteria that are capable of restoring balance in your GI track, establishing a good pH and competing with other kind of bacteria and yeasts. The first time I tried, I felt incredibly tired for a few days. If that happens to you, it is a good sign: it is called the die off phase, it means it's working. The yeast in you GI are dying and they release toxic substances that make you feel sick. For that reason, you might want to start taking it on a Friday, so you can get some rest at the weekend. After this initial discomfort, I felt the way I wanted to feel for years: full of energy, able to wake up easily in the morning. I hope it does the same for you. |

| I've been taking this product for exactly 1 month now and it really works! My bloating went away to the point my tummy is flat. I don't remember when is the last time I had a flat tummy. I also have completely stopped craving sugar, it's such a weird feeling. My coworker had some chocolate on her desk for anyone to take and I didn't even want any, which has never happened. | I have been using ThreeLac on a monthly rotation with another probiotic and I am definitely seeing and feeling results. The shooting pains in my breasts have subsided (I'm a nursing mother). My thrush on my tongue has been gone for a couple of weeks, heartburn has stopped. My brain isn't foggy anymore. I did up the dosage to two packets a day and had to stop for a whole day altogether because it gave me bad intestinal cramping. Went back to one a day and doing well again. | My son has taken Threelac due to so much antibiotic use in his little life. It has helped tremendously! He has horrible allergies that turn into ear infections - this product cut down on all the side effects of antibiotic use. It also cleared up his eczema. On top of that, we live in a part of the country where stomach bugs are rampant as well as the rotavirus. It cleared up the rotavirus within 24 hours and kept him from many bouts of the stomach bug while his friends were down with it. I can't recommend it enough! |

| I started using ThreeLac in 2005 when I was very ill. I had gone to numerous doctors and taken too many tests to count and they all confirmed that I was healthy as a horse. I wasn't though. I was losing hair and losing weight at an alarming rate and was weak and shaky. I started using ThreeLac out of sheer desperation. I did not expect much and was initially dismayed at the intestinal disturbances I experienced. I was taking 2-3 packets a day and had diarrhea :-( I then reduced it to one packet a day and the diarrhea disapperared. I completed the first box without too many noticeable changes. At the beginning of the second box, I passed something that I discovered was a parasite. (I believe I encountered this parasite from drinking contaminated water after a hurricane). I continued with the ThreeLac and my weight steadily increased back to normal, I regained strength and generally felt much more like my old self. As a bonus, I noticed that I had a split toenail that had bothered me for years. The nail would continue to grow but the split stayed. One day, I noticed that the split was much shorter than it had been. It had been about half the length of the nail and now it was only about 1/4 the length of the nail!! A few weeks later, it was completely gone!! I stopped taking the ThreeLac after my sixth box and did not think if it too much anymore until I noticed a few weeks ago that my scalp was extremely flaky and the nail had split again. So I have started the ThreeLac again in hopes that it will get the yeast overgrowth back in check. I have used other generic inexpensive probiotics and have had no success at all. It is an expensive product but I believe in it wholeheartedly and I do not mind spending the money because I get the desired results. I am tempted by the new FiveLac but see no reason to switch from a product that I already know works well for me. They have a customer for life. |

| With all of the medical expertise and prescriptions in this country, it's amazing that the only product that has made a difference for my wife is Threelac. Since she started using Threelac, she has gone from being physically miserable, basically bed-ridden and living on a diet of water, unseasoned chicken and steamed vegetables to living a relatively normal life. After a treatment of antibiotics, you need to replenish your colon with a good probiotic. Without going into the dreary details, this product, which is to be followed after first using Threelac, is a wonderful means of retoring the balance to our colon/body. I have been on this product now for two years, and swear by it. Don't hestitate to use it. Super product!

I took this product for about 6 months, and it completely cured my systemic yeast and digestive problems. I had to go up to about 5 packets a day, but it worked, and nothing else had worked. It's awesome stuff. Then I stopped using it for a year or so, had some return of stomach/digestion trouble, and I've started doing 2 packets a day, which seems to be enough to put my system back on track. You just put it in a little water, it takes like lemon.
The other great option for stomach problems is a tablespoon of cider vinegar a day -- that cured my dad's colitis. Both of these cures work by giving your stomach back some of the healthy bacteria it needs. I'd try the cheaper one (cider vinegar) first, and if that doesn't do the trick, try this stuff. It's really worth it. |

| I've been using ThreeLac for about three years now. I would use nothing else. I find it to be one of the most aggressive probiotics out there and I recommend it to my friends and family all the time. I have a gluten intolerance and ThreeLac has helped make my intestinal villi heal wonderfully (in addition to a gluten free diet). However I initially started using ThreeLac for chronic yeast,,,,of which I've have no problems since. I would highly recommend this product. My Chiropractor about 7 years ago found what no doctor even suspected. That I had Candida overgrowth. We tried a course of undecenoic acid, 45 days. Probably helped, but still had it. I did the in home free Candida test. And it was classic example of being positive. Look up Candida Test. He found it with kinesiology, I weakened to the sample.
After the undecenoic acid, I still felt bad, and I can tell you I had a BAD CASE, as you shall see. I went on the internet and found THREELAC. Bought a box. After the first box, I felt better. 1 month. Well after 6 boxes, (that is right 6-7 months or so! 2 packets a day is 1 month. Sometimes I did 3 packets a day, especially in the beginning), the Candida was back under control, and my in home test was clear, and the kinesiology test was negative too!!! But it does take several boxes. I had a bad case, and that is not really the worst of it. The Candida bacteria is normally beneficial, but in the overgrowth state it becomes a fungus carpet in your intestines. This fungus puts down "feet" and can wear into your intestinal lining...causing LEAKY GUT SYNDROME, that is a permeable condition whereby intestinal contents "leak out" and mal-absorb into your body, and blood stream, setting off your auto-immune system, which then attacks the offending matter. That is why you feel like crap. Your auto-immune system is fighting it like it would a cold. Your lymph glands can swell, (mine did big time), and it can cause other conditions and attack other organs, Candida makes toxins, like alcohol. It is a YEAST!!! And you have to stop having white cane sugar, etc... so you don't feed it.
After you take care of the Candida you still have the intestinal DAMAGE... I took several products for this. INTESTINAL REPAIR COMPLEX (3 YEARS), ULTRA CLEAR PLUS (also 3-4 YEARS)... Digestive enzymes, and PROBIOTICS. It was about 4 years of this therapy until I actually noticed it really clearing up. All this to protect and rebuild the intestinal lining and stop the leakage. It does work but it take a long time. Not months....YEARS in my case. My intestinal permeability test WAS OFF THE CHART, VERY HIGH!!!! This is a medical test, it goes to a lab. I was very POSITIVE!!! After 4 years, it was back to normal range.
SO...Threelac is a very important FIRST STEP in improving you condition. You may get the candida under control, but then you have the DAMAGE to repair. You can see why some people might not think Threelac works too well. They don't know about the intestinal damage part!!!!
I have recently HAD A RELAPSE!!! I have done a course of OIL OF OREGANO. It is supposed to be good against candida. But if it does not do the trick here soon, GUESS WHAT I WILL BE BUYING, AS I KNOW IT WORKS????????????

This works great. I've been constantly sick since having my son. Someone mentioned that they started taking this a few years back and haven't been sick much since. It works great. | I don't know if this product is working or if its all in my head???? I do know that I seem to be getting better (and thats all I really care about ;). Ive had candida before and the lengths I had to go to get rid of it were tiring. I HATED the candida diet. But supposedly with threelac you don't have to worry about that. However, I tried to do a cadida-esque diet but... it only lasted a week (LOL). So I have been taking threelac for almost 2 months now and I finally seem to be getting back to normal. Now two months may sound like a long time but keep in mind I pretty much ate and eat what I want ( which would make health nuts/natural foods nutritionists SCREAM). I should also mention that I had to start with only one packet a day and work my way up to what ever my body could handle. Which turned out to be four but that was to costly so I am taking three. As I said I have been taking it for two months and now I can graduate to five lac. That only requires a packet or two a day for maintainence so we will see how that goes. |

I bought Threelac for a yeast infection. Best I know, it did little to cure that. Perhaps it would have had I taken the recommended three to four packets per day. I took two per day for a week then one/day thereafter.
Threelac did make me feel better in general. Specifically, my joint aches hurt less at all times and did not hurt at all most of the time. That is still true six weeks later. It also regulates my lower digestive system better than anything I have tried and I've tried many possible remedies including diet and fiber supplements.
The four stars (instead of five) are because of the cost.

| Over the last several years I have developed a gluten and wheat intolerance, GERD, IBS and sinus problems. A nutritionist recommended looking into Candida. After some searching online I came across Threelac. A coworker and I split the cost and are sharing a box. I started to notice a difference in my digestive problems within the first week of taking Threelac. I've also noticed a decline in sinus problems. I have experienced symptoms of candida die off, but the overall experience has been positive. I typically take 1/2 a packet after dinner. It does make me very tired, and I am typically ready for bed around 9. I have noticed a decline in the severity of my acid reflux, as well as a smaller reaction to food containing gluten or wheat. I have yet to go on a candida diet, but plan on doing so in the near future. |

I've use quite a few probiotics but usually you have to take on an empty stomach, at a certain time, etc. But I like that it doesn't matter when you take this product, before eating, while eating, after eating - it always seems to work. And I can see results in a matter of days by looking at my tongue. I would give it 5 starts but the price stops me short of that. There's no reason this product needs to be priced that high. | I have been looking for answers for months for my health concerns. I had suspected candida, so I did a candida diet and took some anti-fungals and I felt alright, but not 100%. I did a lot of blood tests and did find out that I have low ferritin, but the iron supplements have not been helping, and I suspect it's caused by the candida. I didn't realize how much it was really working until I ran out, so I ordered two more boxes. I've kind of hit a plateua, so I am going to increase the amount...there's a good article [...] on how to use Threelac effectively. I'm also taking some acidophilus, B-12,adrenal and thyroid support and some supplements that help clean out parasites, which seem to go hand in hand with the candida. I feel much better, not entirely back to normal yet, but it takes time- there are no overnight miracles. Give it a try, and just keep at it, because you will notice a difference. |

| I suffered from what I believe was a chronic yeast overgrowth. My Kaiser docs were less than useless in diagnosing the problem. After multiple diabetes, B12 deficiency, CBC and more tests that were all negative, I decided to take matters into my hands by trying ThreeLac. While I can't say that all my problems disappeared overnight, they reduced in intensity fairly quickly and after 4 months using ThreeLac (1 - 3 doses a day depending on intensity of symptoms) I can say that I am back to 80% health. It took a lot more time and money than what other reviewers have claimed but it is the one product that has seemed to do some temporary good. I also combined this with a greatly sugar reduced diet from the book "Feast without Yeast" to achieve results. Still this isn't a cure for my symptoms. |

| So, I bought the threelac because I was having some problems caused by an excess of candida albicans in my digestive tract. I had already experienced incredible relief from these symptoms from just changing my diet, which makes it hard to say if the threelac really helped at all. The lemon flavored one tastes nice, but I keep thinking about how probiotics are sensitive to heat and I have no idea what temperatures they are stored at in the Amazon warehouse or in the shipping process. Or if they were in the sun for a while and the product was already dead. Who knows! They could be helping a tremendous amount, but because I've changed my diet so much (in a very healthy way) I just haven't noticed the effect of this product. If you're considering buying it because of yeast, just get a book called "Feast Without Yeast", get a good refrigerated probiotic, and schedule yourself some colonics. Seriously. They help to remove the yeast from your large intestine. Also, whole coconut milk and/or coconut oil. They have a high lauric acid content which has been found very effective in treating candida, as well as many other problems that affect your immune system. |

Just a little FYI, since most people who are interested in combating the multiple problems of autism and it's spectrum disorders sometimes follow a STRICT gluten-free casein-free diet, I noticed the last time I read the ingredients list that it stated "Contains an ingredient derived from milk. (12 ppm Casein)"
Amazon has not updated the ingredients list, so I just wanted to inform those gfcf parents and people who are following a strict gfcf diet that this may not be appropriate if you are extremely casein sensitive. I ordered two boxes of Threelac (60 pack) plus GHT Oxygen Elements (1 oz.). I took 1 packet/day for 1 week and then 2 packets/day until completion.
I noticed no discernible difference in my health, although I have to admit that I have more issues I'm dealing with than just a high yeast count. Personally, I did not experience any issues with stomach cramps etc, as others have suggested and I would not consider my stomach to be among the stronger ones (perhaps beginning slowly with 1 pack the first week helped).
Overall I cannot recommend nor discount the possible benefits of the product. Sorry I can't be more helpful. |

| I wish I could say something positive about Three-Lac. I was certainly optimistic after reading all the wonderful reviews on this site. I was diagnosed with an overgrowth of candida after taking a long course of antibiotics. After taking Acidophilus Pearls, Culturelle and various other probiotics with no effect (not to mention Nystatin and Sporonox, both of which made me very ill), I decided to give Three-Lac a whirl. At the start, I enjoyed a mild increase of energy at the lowest dose (1 packet). But when I increased the dose, I suffered from diarrhea. I decreased the dose until the symptoms subsided, and then tried to increase it again, but with the same ill effects. I decreased and increased several times over the course of a year, always with the same result. Like the gentleman who experienced horrible gas, I also became very interesting company while I was taking Three-Lac. And my various digestive problems continued to plague me. After fifteen months I switched from Three-Lac to Kefir, a yogurt-like drink, and within three days my digestion started to improve. The gas disappeared immediately, as did the diarrhea. And for the first time in over a year, the persistent pain on my right side diminished. After a week I was able to re-introduce dairy products without ill effect. I guess Three-Lac is not for everyone. |

I ordered this out of desperation after 9 months of muscle aches and cramping, joint pain and dizziness. I followed all of the instructions on the box - took one pack per day with water, after a meal. The first two days went fairly smoothly. I experienced headaches and increased muscle pain, and wrote it off as the "die-off" everyone is talking about.
On the third day, about 45 minutes after taking the packet I got, erm, 'explosive' diarrhea followed by very intense abdominal cramps for several hours. A full day later my digestive system is still not working OK.
Be careful with threelac. Following the directions doesn't necessarily mean your body will be OK with it. |

This product has been sold through Multi-Level Marketing for years now. I bought into the hype and bought a "3 month supply" for $150. I read so many rave reviews on it, that I was 100% positive it would work. Well, needeless to say, it didn't. While I didn't notice NO effects, the results were pretty darn close to zero.
Don't believe the hype that this is a candida silver bullet. It works for some, and it doesn't work for some, just like most nutritional supplements. One of the things that isn't emphasized enough unfortunately is eating right for your type. Avurveda says it, Chinese Medicine says it.
I'm not here to call the testimonials on this product fake, but I bet you're going in reality see a 50/50 split down the middle with those it's worked for and those it hasn't. |

I want to share (with everybody who is struggling with Candida) my experiences. Yes, I have Candida and have been looking for a miraculous cure to get rid of it.....it is easier to grow it in your body than get rid of it. I had been researching different diets and food supplements like Threelac for some time already. I have read a lot of positive things about Threelac and decided to go for it. Well, unfortunately after 2 months of using it....my Candida was still doing very good in my body (but not me). To add something to it....I WAS (AT THAT TIME) ON A STRICT CANDIDA DIET (not eating everything...as many people do when taking Threelac). SORRY TO SAY....BUT THREELAC DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME FIGHT MY CANDIDA!!!!
I turned to other products....and they seem finally to work. I am still on Candida diet...but fight it with ORGANIC PLAIN KEFIR (one glass per day...no matter when) and 15 drops of GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT mixed in half glass of water (1 drink per day). MY CANDIDA STOPPED BOTHERING ME ANYMORE!!!!!! I STILL HAVE IT....BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY SIMPTOMPS I USED TO HAVE.
I discovered that diet, KEFIR and GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT is the only way to go. NOT THREELAC!!!!

| I bought this product on a recommendation I read in a best selling book. I didn't benefit from this product and will not recommend it to anyone. I switched to Pearl Probiotics and Activ Dannon yogurt/cheese which I find as very effective and cheap. |

I buy a bottle of Dr Shahani's Probiotics,- which are known to contain the best lactobacillus acidophilus,- that only costs me 17 dollars and works wonders. Those interested in getting the best acidophilus can visit Dr Shahani's website and purchase from them.
I am not saying Threelac does not work. I am saying we can get the same thing -or even better- for a much lower price. |
